Word to the wise: you TF2 folks don't wanna play us MNC people right now. Your TF2 skills will not translate well, and we will FLATTEN you all, possibly turning you off of the game forever.

Quoted for truth. This game isn't as similar to TF2 as a lot of people seem to think.

I have to see the rest of you av minty. I won't be able to read any of your posts until I know the genders of the 2 people involved...

Minty doesn't have an av for me, but now I'm intrigued...

*Edit* - I too would like to know if folks plan on moving over to the PC version. I know Brida can't cause she has a Mac, ( ... j/k, I <3 you) but what about everyone else? I'm reluctant to move over just cause we have such a good team on 360 that I don't want to lose that.

I'm still going to play the 360 version, since that's where all the good players are, but I'll drop into the PC version to *ahem* give them some pointers. Unless they find some way to have my stats, protags, and custom classes carry over, I'll have less of a reason to play the PC version on a regular basis.

Also, I'll need a special mouse to handle all of the skill commands across multiple classes. Deploy, Hack, and Firebase can be keymapped, but Charge, Product Grenade, Airstrike, Bomb, Flak, Trap, Slam, Grapple, Cloak, Dash, and Smoke Bomb are active skills that need to be mapped to the mouse, and I don't have a mouse capable of doing those effectively. Weapon switch and reload are also contentious. This game is clearly optimized for controller, though a mouse would transform my long-range harassment ability to outright MURDER.

the last few times I've played we've actually had more than six it seems, making it difficult to get a game started since the clock won't count down until all parties are basically guaranteed to stick together. but if we have enough people playing we could always just private match I guess

Right now I dont have a gaming PC set-up. Although I am very interested in getting it on steam. Dedicated Servers FTW.

Mouse and keyboard will always be superior to the controller for FPS. However MNC uses a lot of skills that require dedicated buttons. And those eventually become cluttered and messy on a Keyboard.

Actually, I'm sure that once I can get my hands on an Onza, I'll still have a good few months of pub rape even playing the PC version (Onza is PC-compatible) with an analog stick. No slow turn and adjustable sensitivity will makes things so much crazier if I'm on a dedicated server. In fact, it would almost be as good as a mouse, I could argue.

I haven't played any FPS-like games on the PC in over 10 years. Also, I own a mac so that's another reason.

When you say "you're crazy if flat out prefer any 360 version over the PC version" do you mean in general or just FPSs? Because theres quite a few games on 360 I prefer over the PC version.

FPS and other click friendly genres mainly. Though if you have a pad of some sort (360 or PS3) then there's no reason to go 360 unless the port is absolutely terrible (such as with Bioshock 2.)
