RadiantViper
The Metroid Prime trilogy (the series as a whole, but these especially) have some absolutely awesome bosses. They all feel well-designed and have a good level on intricacy for whatever part of the game you're at. More than most games, I found they really emphasized the sense of reward and advancement - getting that last shot in and seeing the post-battle cutscene start up always felt awesome. D-K
Oh shit, right. The most fun with bossfights I've had is in Lost Planet 2. Mostly because of the fact that they're massive and you can get on/in/beneath them. My all time favourite, as of yet, is in the sand village, where there are two relatively large bossmonsters running around. Their attacks are fun, they destroy half of the village, in real-time (non-scripted, which is awesome!), and they work actually together. Non-pattern movement suggests complicated A.I at work, which I can appreciate because experience teaches me that A.I is fucking hard to do right. Chronixal
Psh, easiest plot battle in the game. Equip Ramza with the boots that allow +1 movement then run around the room and boost Concentrate about 7-8 times until you can practically one-shot him. Toshi
Dullahan in Golden Sun is an ass, the Weapons in FFVII are assholes, Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts was a bitch, and I think I may have had some issues with the last boss in Bayonetta.
