David Bradley, aka Argus Filch of Harry Potter and Solomon from Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, will be portraying William Hartnell (actor who played the first Doctor) in the 50th anniversary drama "An Adventures in Space and Time". It was brought up after airing of Dinosaurs on a Spaceship on the resemblance.

Peter Jackson up for working on Dr Who. Moffat up for working with Peter Jackson. This could only end well. (Isn't there another Neil Gaiman one due this year?)

Aye, nice to hear. Was one of those "if you don't at least get these two on board you've fucked up somewhere".

Last nights episode pretty standard fare. Mainly a frame with which to have Clara re-introduced. And sets-up Richard E. Grant as a story arc villain which is nice to have. (I'd been trying to think why I thought he fit quite well in the Whoniverse, then I remembered he temporarily played The Doctor in Curse of Fatal Death). Few neat jokes here and there too, and a nod back to the first new episode Rose. A regular episode, par for the course with these set-up types.
