Wooooooo.

Well there were some really good moments

Still definitely more enjoyable that not, but not as good a opener as the start of this series.

Well talk about spoilers.

What confuses me is how River will still be in the series when she already stated their time-lines go in the opposite direction, so we should only see Mel (and pre-Mel Melody) from this point on if we're still following the Doctor, right? Unless we skip ahead til after she said that and she meets him after that point. Hmm. The actress who plays Mel didn't seem that great, so I hope she's not going to replace Alex Kingston from this point on.

Yeh I can't imagine them being too bothered about playing fast and loose with canon, especially if it means keeping such a good character in.

Which reminds me:

Doctor Who eh? Not posted the last few weeks. Had the one with the little boy in the flats, the one with older Amy and this weekend had the one with the hotel.

The one with the kid was just creepy for the dolls. Didn't really do much for me though. The older Amy one was good as a character building episode for Rory n Amy. Also it has Professor Umbridge in it and supposedly one of the smallest cast lists of any Dr Who episode.

The God Complex was pretty good though, also David Walliams too. Doctor is obviosly learning not to let his companions get too close this time around. Nice ending though I have a feeling it's not the last we'll see of them. Also I'm pretty sure we all know who was in the Doctors door.

So the james cordon one was a bit :/ Cutesy n such, and had the forboding for the next episode, but "killed by love" was a bit bleurgh. The baby talk stuff was kinda neat. The laser sonic screwdriver effects were very nononono.

Still, stetson, 4(5) envelopes, it's all lining up,

So got bored:

First Doctor: 103

Second: 91

Third: 93

Fourth: 77

Fifth: 60

Sixth: 68

Seventh: 68

Eight: 51

Ninth: 47

Tenth: 40

Eleventh: 28

Apart from two slight blips, though it's being consistent for the latter half, he's being getting younger not older. I knew the recent three were definite but McGann was young and so long ago so wasn't sure could stretch to four, but it was close call.

The series has being running for 48 years. Fuck that's a damn long time. Whoever said "wait, let's kill him off, but have him come back as a different actor. Put it down as some alien thing.. regeneration or something" was one of the greatest TV minds of all time. Creating both a sound explanation that fits with the show and in indefinitely extending the life of the show far beyond anything else.
