Chewblaha
I suggest there should be a doghouse where people can be negatived and deactivated from posting for a while to cool down.
deanb
I think its just in order they're added. I'd imagine it shouldn't be to hard. I don't think so, the ones Tali just added are right in the middle of all the bunny emoticons. She added a second lot after. Don't you remember the duplicates? Yea, but she just added some smileys like an hour ago, and they're just smack dab in the middle of other smileys. I think it's random. Showmeyomoves!
I suggest there should be a doghouse where people can be negatived and deactivated from posting for a while to cool down. I don't think putting Bouchart in a dog house will make him calm down. Quite the opposite, actually. @Admins: I've seen several people thinking out loud about this in other threads, but how would you guys feel about giving us more positive/negative votes per day? The current ration seems very limited and I often see great posts later in the day that I am unable to vote for because I already used all of mine. This is just a suggestion, but how about 50 positive votes and 10 negatives per day? This sounds like a lot, but it would give us the opportunity to hand out all the votes we want without being able to abuse it. I also personally wouldn't mind if giving ratings only gave TAY points to the receiver, not the giver.

Pheermee
I think 50 is a little excessive. But I like the idea of the receiver getting the points instead of the giver. That way it encourages people to make good comments. And not just Pos rep spam things for points. *EDIT* Left out a word Edited December 28, 2010 by Pheermee
Showmeyomoves!
Well, I said 50 because I don't want to run out of them. I think per day I see about 20-30 comments I would like to vote up.
Pheermee
Well if feel that the pos rep should be an award of sorts reserved for the best comments. not something to be handed out frivolously

Showmeyomoves!
Well if feel that the pos rep should be an award of sorts reserved for the best comments. not something to be handed out frivolously I disagree. I think the point of a ratings system is to show how a certain comment is viewed by the community at large. With the current rations I hardly ever see any ratings on posts, and when I do it's just +1 or +2 votes. Pos reps will always be a reward, but HIGH pos reps will only accumulate on the best comments. deanb
I'm only just on a laptop, so not yet looked over all the nuances of the rep system myself but: I believe the reasoning for a currently low count is to make it a bit more special than a willy nilly thing. As for TAY points just for repping, yeah that seems a bit silly, but I don't think Tali is being to precious over TAY points. We can discuss it and get back to you. D-K
I'm with Smooves on this. I also feel the neg rep should not detract points from whoever issued the neg rep, it's bad enough someone is subjected to a comment worthy of neg rep without being punished for it as well. I do however, agree to keeping neg reps relatively low, I'm thinking 5 a day should be sufficient. On the other side of the spectrum, I'd personally go with 20 pos reps a day Edited December 28, 2010 by D-K

D-K
Perhaps you could limit your lollipop&sunshine output a bit, I mean just look at your Friends list, you're much too easily impressed, but I guess that would fit a Nintendo fan.
