I tend to make a new account each time

Why?

I just do, I dunno. I had one called Interficio, then Artibeus, and then Pixel_Breaker. I'll prolly keep the last one though, or go back to my second one. I'm not too concerned with my trophies, as of right now anyway.

http://us.playstation.com/publictrophy/index.htm?onlinename=Artibeus Dunno if you can see that or not, but there you go. It does not have the Cocky trophy on it, but it does have my World At War platinum, which was quite the feat.

http://us.playstation.com/publictrophy/index.htm?onlinename=Interficio That one has the Dead Space trophy pretty sure, I would have gotten platinum, but then I was just fucking sick of the game.

http://us.playstation.com/publictrophy/index.htm?onlinename=Pixel_Breaker That's the latest profile, and it has the least for a reason. I played Artibeus for the longest.

I really need to just make one and stick with it. xD

Hahaha yeah Demon's Souls is brutal on the trophies. I've bought it at launch, spent about a week getting my ass kicked by it (beat the first boss, the giant knight and that armored spider thing), which gave me like 3 trophies total. Then Uncharted 2 came out and I just stopped playing. I've wanedt to get back into it for a while now, especially before the servers go offline, but it's such a demoralizing game I can never bring myself to put it in the damn PS3 <_<

I have the Dead Space "Don't Get Cocky, Kid" trophy. Didn't think it was THAT bad. Only took me about 30 tries

I'm not sure I have a trophy I'm proudest of, though. I platinum'd a few games that required playthroughs on the hardest difficulties, but they usually ended up being much easier than I anticipated. I guess Resident Evil 5 had a few frustrating spots on Professional. Heavy Rain was pretty damn long to get the "see all endings" one, but it was easy as fuck.

Dead Rising - 7 Day Survivor.

You have to stay alive for 7 day's in-game surival mode. So, not only is your health going down constantly, but you can't die or save - this means you have to have your Xbox on for at least 14 hours (real time), AND not die during that time.

Insane.

Mile High Club is one of my proudest achievements. I was so happy when I finally got that.

Beating Mass Effect 2 on Insanity also ranks up there. Fuck those Scions. Fuck them hard.

------------

Also, beating COD: WAW on Veteran ranks up there too. Not because it was particularly hard, but just because of how ridiculously cheap it was. 7 grenades in your lap from 250 yards away, enemies that would rather shoot you at 100 yards than your teammates at ten feet, infinite enemy closets, etc.

I don't think I've raged more during a game than during World at War on Veteran.

The trophies for demons souls are really ridiculous. Even trying to get them beforehand, I still couldn't get all the stones I needed for the weapons in 5 playthroughs. T_T

This. A million times this. I still haven't beat ME2 on Insanity because of those goddamned scions.

Cooldowns, and heavy weapon ordnance, are your friends during these times. Bring characters that can destroy armor and use cover effectively. Now the Praetorians, on the other hand, will piss you off.

As for more stupid achievements, games that require you to complete them without saving and without dying to achieve the highest rank or to unlock things (Looking at you, Resident Evil games)

I remember thinking Mile High Club would be difficult after hearing so many people say it was as such. Then I actually went and did it, got in on my second try. Same goes for 'Don't Get Cocky, Kid', now that I think about it :s

7 Day Survivor looks daunting ... but besides making the time for it, it's incredibly easy. Run around with your Mega Buster, kill some psychos, get a bunch of good healing items, sit in a corner and heal yourself when you get to very low health, repeat. The 'Saint' achievement for saving 50 survivors is MUCH harder IMO - you have to deal with the shitty survivor AI, plus you have to be very efficient with your time.

Anyways ... the hardest achievements for me:

In terms of skill (maybe patience) -

All Hail The Splode King (Complete the Single Player game in Hardcore mode) in Splosion Man - You have to do a perfect no-death run in each and every level

Aperture Science (Earn gold medals on all Portal challenges) in The Orange Box - The 'least portals' ones are easy, all the rest are a pain in the ass.

Call of Duty: WaW on Veteran - SO MANY GRENADES

The aformentioned Saint achievement in Dead Rising ... by extension, getting all the achievements in that game is a fairly big challenge

In terms of time/dedication -

Getting all online awards, and getting 10002 online kills in Bad Company 1 - Some of the awards are just way to counter-intuitive to how the game plays. So in other words, lots of boosting!

10th Prestige in Call of Duty: WaW - Just lots and lots and lots of playing - about 300 hours.

As for ones I don't have ... how bout all those stupid online achievements in GTA4? Just annoying as hell.

90% of Perfect Dark Zero's achievements.

Climb to the top of the leaderboard for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

The hardest one that I did though was the stupid little gnome in HL2: Episode 2. Man that was a huge pain.

Little Rocket Man 30

Send the garden gnome into space.

I still had fun with the part as well, mostly cause after a few runs, I got to the end and shot the gnome into some bushes. I got out of the car, scrambled for a few seconds trying to find it, grabbed it and ran to the end - and I survived with exactly 1 health left

"You achieved Half-Life 2: Episode Two: #EP2_PUT_ITEMINROCKET_NAME."

Oh, Steam, you and your achievement glitches. That was the Little Rocket Man achievement I just got today. That Hunter-Chopper was a pain, making me crouch under train cars and stuff. I took my frustration out by punting the gnome as far as I could with the gravity gun, thinking of the gnomes on WoW named "Puntmeplz" and laughing a little. XD
