Hot Heart
Just a note, not sure if it's the same for everyone except me, but I can't see post 'likes' properly. I can see the options to like/unlike but no names appear next to that.

deanb
And fixed, turns out the upgrade was turning off a global setting of "View who gave reputation". Damn Joan Jett bugs.

Mal
Is it just me or is this forum running in the future by about 7 10 minutes? Edited July 27, 2013 by MaliciousH
deanb
No it's not just you. I imagine whatever server we're running on has the unix time set up wrong. As it currently stands it's not causing any issues so not really looked into it.
Mal
Well, it seems to be getting longer as the weeks move by. I'll keep tally.

Mister Jack
Maybe I'm stupid or something but if I want to show an image I saw posted on this forum to someone outside the forum without having to link the whole page and make them scroll through it, how do I do it? Usually I right click and copy the image URL on other sites, but on here right click just enlarges the image. Edit: Son of a bitch, I figured it out literally 30 seconds after posting this. Mal
I always wondered why does it requires the extra steps and honestly, at time I do forget how to do it.
deanb
Not sure which browsers you're using but on Chrome right click - "copy image URL" is the way. It's left click that enlarges the image. If you're wanting to link to a specific post btw you can click the #216 in the right hand corner of a post and it'll pop up a box with the posts specific URL. I always thought it was stupid that you have to click save to get the URL. That's not very intuitive.
Mal
Dean directions for Chrome is correct but I suspect MJ and I use Firefox. The steps are: Click on image > Click on the save button (Opens a new tab) > Right click save > Close tab Its only a few more clicks and 2-3 more seconds but you know how us internet folks are. Efficiency. If it can be changed, great but if not then no big deal. Life goes on.
deanb
Wait are you wanting to share the image, or save it? (though in Chrome it'd be the same directions but the option above for "save image as...") Either way, sounds like a FF issue, in which case (especially for efficiency) I'd suggest using Chrome. Mal
Save/share, its really is the same deal with Firefox.
Faiblesse Des Sens
The image within lightbox can't be right clicked when using FF so you have to use the unintuitive "save" button. Though oddly if you right click really fast when opening the lightbox it works.
deanb
Ooohhhhh. You guys are talking the save button on the lightbox. Nah just click the image itself not the lightbox. Lightbox is all javascript stuff, won't act like an image (it'll act like javascript). edit: Some of you guys use the web really weirdly by the way. Faiblesse Des Sens
I am talking about clicking the image. The only way to actually get to the image without the lightbox is to use the damn save button.
TheMightyEthan
Oh yeah, I just tested it and in Firefox when you right-click it brings up the lightbox for some reason. That's stupid, but it's a Firefox issue. Chrome, IE, and Opera all let you right-click on the image in the actual post without opening the lightbox.
