TCP
I predict: time powers. Rewinding/fastforwarding time Braid style.
Hot Heart
Spider powers because FUCK YOU MAN I GOT ATTITUDE
Faiblesse Des Sens
We saw cement/stone enemies in the gameplay preview, maybe that will be the fourth one? That could make sense if their future Seattle is always under construction like current Seattle.
CorgiShinobi
What do you guys think of the Cole's Legacy DLC? I mean, how supposedly it'll only come in the Limited and Collector's Editions and "won't be available anywhere, ever!" With all the spending I've done over vacation and getting some older games, I guess I could have had a PS4 by now. I don't see why such exclusive content would have to exist when talking about an anticipated title of a well-received series. Second Son is probably one of the Top 5 games people bought a PS4 for, so you know its going to sell for most anyone with a PS4.
Strangelove
Has that actually EVER happened? All dlc eventually goes up for sale. I think the only one that never did was the Casino stage for Sonic Generations.Plus, I really dont expect much from this dlc. I assume it's something similar to what Black Flag did with the Aveline dlc. It wasnt bad, but I cant say I would have missed it if it wasnt there. I dont expect much from preorder/limited edition story dlc.
Hot Heart
Casino pinball thing for Generations was certainly on PC. But, yeah, past inFAMOUS games were even giving away the 'exclusive DLC' for free, so I wouldn't listen to that crap.
CorgiShinobi
It reminds me of the Gigawatt Blades for the first InFamous. Originally it was a pre-order exclusive move only, but half a year later they became a free download.
Strangelove
Yup. All the cool stuff i got from my Infamous 2 Hero Edition was also free about a year or 2 after.
TheMightyEthan
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHzh96ehv4A Live action trailer. I know how much everyone loves those.
Waldorf and Statler
speaking of exclusive DLC, reminds me of the ME2 (or was it 3?) DLC about going to the ruins of a certain famous ship in the game and exploring it. Didn't really do shit for me
Hot Heart
That was ME2, the Normandy crash site. Your ship that crashed, GOSH! Plus, that came with 'membership' of the Cerberus Network which was a 'project ten dollar' thing, so wasn't a pre-order exclusive as much as a bonus.
Waldorf and Statler
I said certain famous ship in case it was considered a spoiler.... lol
Hot Heart
We have spoiler tags, sheesh! Plus, the game's over four years old. Everyone's probably already been spoiled on ME3's ending by now.
Faiblesse Des Sens
I'm still not spoiled by ME3s ending. Also didn't the Normandy get wrecked at like... the very start of ME2 which is what gave them the reason to do like everything again at the start of ME2? Strangelove
Anyone watch this video yet? Its 12 minutes. It basically shows how a good inFamous player would play the game. Or a more interesting person who doesnt want to play it as a pure tps. Looks damn good.
Hot Heart
While it looks fun and pretty and all, I'm still skeptical. It's a dev walkthrough, so this will be a highly-upgraded character (with maybe everything but the other powers at this stage) and it appears that he doesn't even need to recharge the powers and possibly has god mode or at least rapidly recharging health. Strangelove
I noticed that. He never needs to recharge and Delsin just seems more powerful than in the other trailers. Personally, I never had a problem with recharging in the other games, so thats a non-issue to me. That being said, headshots seem to be extremely powerful and from what i could tell, there seems to be some sort of chain function, if you keep getting good shots in a row, it seems to make you more powerful. at least thats how it looks to me. Overall, if the neon power is one of the powers theyre ok with showing off, im really excited to see the other ones. The neon power is extremely flashy, im a big fan of that. The tornado move in the other inFamous game seemed to be the flashiest move in the game and the neon orbital drop just decimates it, so im eager to see how far theyre willing to go now. TheMightyEthan
I'm really enjoying it so far, and it's gorgeous as hell (and has convinced me that jaggies will soon be a thing of the past this generation), but every time anyone mentions the D.U.P. I can't help but think of the D.O.O.P.
TCP
I want to meet whoever designed this He Who Dwells boss battle and punch them square in the face, what a load of BS. Why do developers still put in unnecessarily frustrating boss fights in games?
Strangelove
Thats an easy fight, its just long as hell. If theres any tip I can give, its that you should spend most of your shards on getting more heavy ammo for whichever power you like the most. That being said, neon rules all. Especially in that fight.
TheMightyEthan
I haven't got the other two powers, but between smoke and neon I definitely like neon better. The only thing I like better about smoke is healing by going through vents and that headshots are automatic subdues.
Strangelove
Id say smoke is the best power for fighting and neon is the best for traversal, at least til the third power. Sucker Punch has gotten so imaginative with these conduit powers that they could make as many sequels to this game as they wanted, it could be a modern Megaman. I hope they dont, but they could if they wanted. I think most people have gotten a bit tired of elemental powers by now anyways. Im glad they went in this direction. TheMightyEthan
Woo! Endless lightspeed! *Edit* - See, I like neon better for combat because of the improved mobility. Also neon shots do more damage than smoke shots. The smoke missile seems to do more damage than the neon missile though, and I like not having to charge it up too.
