Thursday Next
I thought they'd said that they "would like to do it"? Didn't see anything that looked like confirmation. Source perchance? (Not doubting the veracity of your claim, rather curious to see the detail of the statement.)
TheMightyEthan
http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/03/07/infamous-second-son-dev-talks-sequel-and-dlc "Sucker Punch is hard at work on more Second Son content and I can’t wait for people to play it," Fox revealed. "It’s got a lot of the things that I’d like to have seen in this game and now we get to do them, now that we have total mastery over our tools and time, it’ll be great. I can’t you the details of the content just yet, though." *Edit* - And this article from a couple weeks later says it's the same scope as Festival of Blood (which is meaningless to me because I never played that).
Mister Jack
Festival was about 4 hours long and pretty good in my opinion.
Strangelove
Festival was great.
TheMightyEthan
Just finished Paper Trail. I'm sure it's leading in to whatever the DLC's going to be.
Strangelove
Well, no one else mentioned it, so I might as well. Standalone and you play as Fetch. Dont know if its a prequel or sequel. Im excited since I love the series and Sucker Punch knows how to make a fucking expansion. Im assuming Fetch will get new neon powers Delsin never got. If I remember correctly, she already did some stuff Delsin never did.
TheMightyEthan
It looked like an interquel to me. Honestly, to avoid plot holes it would have to be either that or a sequel, because Fetch didn't have very strong powers when she was captured by the DUP, it wasn't until after they trained her and she escaped at the beginning of Second Son. TCP
I'm kind of disappointed the DLC is about Fetch, I was hoping for some of those paper or wood powers that were teased in the game. That said, I'm still excited because it's Sucker Punch and an Infamous game.
Strangelove
Probably saving it for the sequel.I actually wouldn't be surprised if they never use the powers they mentioned in Second Son. The inFamous universe pretty much allows anything to be a power. Which is awesome.
Opabinia
Probably saving it for the sequel. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they never use the powers they mentioned in Second Son. The inFamous universe pretty much allows anything to be a power. Which is awesome. Makes me dissapointed that is the only action sandbox game for the new generation. One would think that developers would leap to make more of these with increased power, but I suppose fpses make way more money. That is why Activision axed Prototype.
SomTervo
Currently playing First Light and actually having more fun with it than the main game! It's almost like the Shadow of Mordor of superhero games. There are constantly enemies rocking around and getting in their own fights, and combat is so fun (once you get the full swing of Neon) that it's a joy just being a boss superhero for once Plus Fetch is a decent character and it's great to play a girl. Not to mention the game's fucking stunning Edited January 8, 2015 by kenshi_ryden
deanb
There's a rumour that there's InFamous HD version coming to PS4 in August, which is fairly plausible. Something to look out for at E3. The twist on this is it includes a pre-order bonus for the beta of a Sucker Punch made Spider-Man game. Though given this is all based on a now deleted Amazon link, it's veering into the "fake" territory. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1214769
TCP
I've totally been at the wheel on this. Sucker Punch is rumoured to be working on a Spider-Man game? We truly are living in a golden era.
TheMightyEthan
I just want a followup to Second Son. That game was boss.
