And now I'm trying to explain why I was lolling at work.

I don't hate Apple, but I loathe the perception that Macs are the everyman computing device because they're "so easy." If you struggle with a PC, you'll have a hard time with a Mac as well. They're not fanboys, but most people around campus with Macs don't know jack about networking and computers. I've learned to keep quiet if I ever experience a problem because I always get the response, "Shoulda got a Mac." I usually follow up by asking how a Mac would solve my problem, and I always get, "I dunno, it would just work."

 

Depending if my career asks for it, I'll get myself a Mac Mini, but I'm not going to get an overpriced MacBook Pro. My $720 HP Pavilion does everything my roommate's $2000 MacBook Pro is capable of. Still, I would have to blame the campus bookstore rather than the consumers. About three quarters of the computers and devices are from Apple.

 

Anyway, on topic, if I'm a fanboy of anything it's FLCL. I really like everything else I own, but if I could only keep one series/game from my collection, I would keep my FLCL Ultimate Edition box set.

Yeah those Mac vs PC adverts didn't really give the right impression

And yet they ran them for like 5 years (or more?).

We actually got different ones in the UK done by Mitchell n Webb which isn't the best idea cos not everyone's keen on either of them. Though of the two Webb is the more disliked.

Guess which one Webb played.
