Games You've Beat in 2011

Yeah MoH was one of the games I grabbed n played last year. I was curious to any difference n similarities it'd have to CoD, and while it was very short I'd recommend it over CoD for campaign. Played neither(except COD4) for MP, so not sure how it scales on that. The issue would be most folks go for MP over campaign.

What's weird is I pirated MoH (first n only I've played all the way through. I'm still figuring how to make up for it. I ain't buying the game though), and Mirrors Edge I played legit (at the time there was no way for PS3's to play pirated games anyway) and it's MoH that gets a sequel n ME that gets semi-canned....

I also beat Metro 2033 last night.

So there were two endings? I had no idea this game had a morality system until I read about it online. I'm not gonna play it again just to get the better ending

Yeah, that kinda pissed me off when I realized that as well.

Nothing in the game ever really hints at there being one.

Once I finished it, I just watched the other on youtube.

Vanquish.

I thought the hard mode was brutal, there were definitely moments that seemed impossible.... It's nothing compared to the challenges though. Not all of them really, challenge 4 is what I'm getting at here. For the first time in my life I've been stuck in the same exact spot of a game for three straight days. It's so tempting to let this platinum go, but I'd never forgive myself for being defeated that way. *sigh* Tonight will be so frustrating.

Dead Space 2 : Severed It was too bloody short. 2 hours to exposit for DS3 and that relationship made little sense post-extraction especially considering Weller's lines and dialogue in extraction.

Not to say that it was bad, but there's so many things about that story that just rubbed me the wrong way.

p.s. less than 2 hours on Zealot mode is pretty short in my opinion.

Crashed through Bulletstorm on PS3 on Normal, and played a bit of multi. Fun game, pity that no-one online "gets" it. If you want to run around head-shotting All The Time then go back to CoD, your pathetic 25pts per kill are a waste of everybody's time. If you wanna juggle an enemy with some kicks and leash before flinging them into a generator, then hit me up.

Just beat Chrono Trigger for the first time. One of the best games I've ever played.

I'm probably one of the only people who was let down by Chrono Trigger probably because I loved FFVI so much. After waiting forever for the games release I thought the game was too short. Still, it was a fantastic game.

I played Stranglehold and enjoyed it enough. I played the demo for WET and was left distinctly unimpressed. It does seem to have some people who love it though, so I guess...give the demo a try?

Someone already offering me Wet for $15, maybe I should get this, finish it, and decide to keep it or to resell it again.

For those on the fence about Wet. I got it for £5. That's the best price for it in my eyes. The game isn't terrible, but it's not well-made. It has an interesting style however. It is short though. I mean if they could've worked on it a bit more, it would have been a much more enjoyable game.

Red Dead Redemption

I'm not sure if it counts, though. I played the story missions to the end, but from what I heard, it seems I haven't yet reached the "true" ending. It's only a side-mission away, but I'm keeping it as the last thing I'll do in the game. For now I'm working on other secondary missions and trophies.

Hyperdimension Neptunia (Just trophy cleanup required for Platinum - few dungeons and need to make sure I've seen all cutscenes - feel like I'm missing something).

Anyway ugh while the game has a lot of enjoyable things, there's so much about the game that annoyed me post-game. Mostly cause gameplay was terrible. Story was humorous though.

At least the game is rare as NIS totally sold their first shipment (no more shipments) and it's gone out of stock at a few retailers even in the UK.
