AcidCrownie
The way ESPN was today, you'd think that Brett Favre died. EDIT: From Adam Schefter's Twitter: "Amazing - Favre plays 297 (321) straight games and the guy behind him is out after one with 'turf toe'." Chewblaha
Rex Grossman's thoughts: "Guy's open downfield? Throw it into the stands."
AcidCrownie
This is Round 1 in the playoffs. My team, as the Argyle Socks, lost 5 of the first 6 match-ups, going down to 11 of 12 in the standings. After changing the name to the Scotland Highlanders, I won 6 of the last 7 to make it in as the 4th seed of a 4-team playoff. I'm matched up against the best team in the league, up by 40 going into the second round... Winner goes to the championship. I'll be on eggshells on Sunday. AcidCrownie
Jags win, in the playoffs. Tebow's first start. Miami still in the hunt. And me looking to upset the 1 seed in fantasy playoffs. Three weeks left. It all comes down to this.

c hoertjes
I was hoping Favre had died on the field. EDIT: I think he did: It's...beautiful.

Chewblaha
Good defensive coordinator. You also need to write "legendary" instead of "great." Edited December 27, 2010 by Chewblaha

c hoertjes
Yea, it got flexed onto NBC's coverage. Kinda weird, but it will decide the NFC West so it makes sense.
Chewblaha
Too bad that division is worse than old coffee grounds. The Bears Packers match is a much better one as it's not only the NFL's oldest rivalry, but it'll be the division leader needing to win the game to prevent their arch-rivals from playing in the playoffs. c hoertjes
It doesn't matter how good or bad the division is, it's a winner gets in, loser goes home, for both teams. Even if the Bears lose their game they're obviously still in the playoffs.
Chewblaha
Two winning teams with two of the top defenses in the league are playing and they're rivals and one of them needs to win to get into the playoffs. That seems like a better scenario than the "non winning record division leader" game.
c hoertjes
Both teams needing a win > one team needing a win.

Sindo
Called that Saints win. Couldn't decide who to root for though. I'm from Louisiana, but I live in Atlanta. Went with Saints though, seeing as I'm in Louisiana right now.
AcidCrownie
Well, for the second straight year in a row, the Jaguars imploded and lose out of the playoffs. Here's hoping they fire Del Rio. They need a new coach. And let's go Rams! I  Sam Bradford. Such a great QB.
