I've now got the N7 Destroyer, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury - only missing Demolisher and Paladin. New classes definitely add a new twist to things, and the new maps are some of my favorites (Rio in particular).

Just because you win in the end doesn't make it a bad ending, but I did find the fact that EDI and the geth were still alive to be weird.

 

What makes it "bad" is that there's no sacrifice in this ending. You don't lose all AI life, you don't lose all organic sentient life, and you don't lose yourself. All three (four) solutions have negative aspects. This one doesn't.

I can understand that, and it doesn't exactly fit with the game's whole 'victory through sacrifice' theme, but what the video does is highlight how many elements are left to the Catalyst to expose.

Friggin' multiplayer weekend events. Everytime I do both objectives, I only receive the Victory Pack and have to contact EA Support about missing the Commendation one.

 

But on the last occasion, EA Support just wouldn't work at all. And now they're asking me to contact them in a couple of days.

 

On the plus side, got an N7 Fury in the Victory Pack, that certainly looks interesting.

Mass Effect 3 'Leviathan' and 'Firefight' DLC announced.

Today we are pleased to announce a new Story-Driven Single Player DLC for Mass effect 3 – Leviathan!

Discover more about the origins of the Reapers as you race across the galaxy to find the Leviathan. Unravel the dark history of the Reaper Race before it is too late. Taking place during the events of Mass Effect 3, players will be thrust into the darkest corners of space where they will hunt a mysterious being rumored to be powerful enough to destroy a Reaper. As they race against time, they will begin to unravel the secret of the Leviathan. Explore uncharted systems and new areas on the Citadel, interact with brand new characters, unlock the AT-12 Raider shotgun and M-55 Argus Assault Rifle and discover more about the mysterious history of the Reapers. Available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Cost is $10 or 800 Microsoft points.

 

 

But that is not all. Players will soon be able to arm themselves with the Firefight Pack, a new Single Player Weapon Pack available for download August 7. Available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Cost is $2 or 160 Microsoft points. The Firefight Pack will feature two powerful new weapons and five bonus weapons to use in the fight to Take Back Earth!

 

Some screenshots and additional info about the Wii U version of ME3 were also released. I gotta say, the things they're going to be doing with the Wii U controller look pretty snazzy.

I'm gonna guess it's a renegade Reaper with a name like that. And also it doesn't actually work either (given it's mid ME3 and the Cucible was the anti-Reaper weapon. That was the point of ME3)

Yeah, I'm not sure what they're planning with this. Could be interesting...could be dumb. And the ME3 squad doesn't interest me too much either.

 

In other news, the N7 Fury is amazing fun...as long as you're hosting. You can exploit the heavy melee to teleport through walls and up ladders, and you asplode all the things!

I've been pondering this the whole day, thinking "what could he have meant by that?". Much as I try, I could not figure out what it was you were trying to convey with your message. For instance, what does it mean when you say something like "when it leaks"? And by "finally play this" are you referring to playing Mass Effect 3, the game, or just this DLC? What could be the "most interesting things" about the series? Why did Vargras link you to the wiki? I wonder what meaning he got out of your post. Why does TheMightyEthan think that you are pirating it? Are you pirating it? Say NO to piracy!

When the DLC leaks he will finally play the game, because the thing about the Leviathan of Dis was one of the most interesting things about the universe to him.

 

The reason I think he's pirating it is because he's talking about it leaking as opposed to releasing.

He was hiding under the sea. And he can kill ALL the Reapers...as long as you lure them under that particular planet's ocean.

First game. One of the planets has a description of an organic ship or something that was found in the ocean. That's Vargras' link. Though it includes ME3 spoilers but I've already forgotten what I've read.

Either the game's worth playing or it's not. If it's worth playing then pay for it. If it's too expensive wait for a price drop. I'm okay with pirating to try, so you can make intelligent judgments about whether it's worth playing, but pirating to actually play through it is lame.
