Fucking finally. Miranda and Legion were the two characters I wanted to see. Besides Garrus and Grunt. Hopefully Legion is a party member. He's a better engineer/techie than Tali imho.

Also, I don't know what they mean by reinstated here. I know we discussed this before, but in my gameplay Anderson is part of the council. I'm not sure whether he has anypower to reinstate ranks in the military, so could he be talking about the Spectres?

GAWD I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME AND FIND OUT INSTEAD OF SPECULATING.

Legion is my favorite companion character from ME2.

*Edit* - According to the canon Anderson is no longer a Councilor by this point, even if he was in ME2, he's been replaced by now. Also, he's an Admiral in the Alliance, so it's not unreasonable to think he's talking about Alliance rank. Not to mention the whole reason Shep is on Earth is for a military trial, so presumably he's saying "the trial's over, you're cleared of the charges and reinstated to active duty".

We've seen Legion before in other trailers, but this was the first one to show Jacob, Miranda, and Samara (even though all crew members who survived ME and ME2 have been guaranteed to reappear in ME3).

One thing is to guarantee. Another thing is to say "oh they'll appear there as a background character". So yes it is nice to see them. Especially Miranda since my Shep has no interest in too-much-make-up Ashley.

A plot point I REALLY want to see in this game is the whole Geth thing. Knowing Bioware, you'll probably have to up your debating skills since you'll most likely have to convince these guys to fight together.

^You know, I agree with Zap about that. Applying that to Mass Effect, you might as well do shit you aren't going to do in real life. Which is why I've been evil/anti-heros/female in every game I've played the past few years.

And why I've been a good female nymphomaniac in both titles.

I'm playing Mass Effect 2 again so I have a lot of time to sit around and think about how stupid planet scanning is and how it could be less stupid, and here's my solution:

Instead of having to manually go over the planet, you simply press the scan button and EDI scans the whole thing manually and gives you a report on how much of each mineral is on the planet. She also tells you how much it will cost in credits to mine those minerals, based on factors such as the surface conditions, the mineral makeup of the planet, whether the minerals are concentrated in a few places or spread out all over, etc. You then have the option to spend the credits to mine the minerals or not. Another facet I've considered but not decided whether it's a good idea or not is to give you the option to only mine some of the minerals, or only one type of mineral, with the disadvantage that it would cost more per mineral collected (though still less overall) due to the fact that there's a certain amount of overhead or whatever just in setting up operations.

Another option would be to have you pay a certain amount just to establish a mining facility (determined by surface conditions on the planet) and then pay an additional amount determined by how much mining you want done (based on the other factors I listed).

The facebook app page just reloads forever for me, looks like it's caught in a redirect loop.

Man, I just cannot work the internet today.

*Edit* - Might be UK specific (the URL, even if I search for the app on Facebook, keeps putting "uk" in it).

Wow. This game is actually... really stupid. Completely luck based, not really interesting at all. I tried three times, the virtual dice came up snake eyes three times. It says it'll let me try again in two hours, but I really don't care enough to put up with this crap game to get a demo two days early.
