I can understand the reasons why. If one console consistently beat the other it would be a PR disaster. MS stands to lose more if the experience is the same. If they can play against someone without a LIVE subscription and have the same experience then it becomes much harder for MS to justify that ~£40 per year.

Yeah, I mean MS is already struggling horribly to justify the cost as it is <_< I love how every E3 they go up on stage and rave about support from yet another website, touting it as "SO MUCH VALUE ADDED TO LIVE". This year it was YouTube. And I saw this announcement on Youtube. I suppose MS is targeting the "dumbass who doesn't realize he has working computer" demographic with the way they act every E3 as if they had invented these websites solely for Live on the 360.

Jesus fucking christ. Why are you people so harsh towards Kotaku?

Uh,

for the 18th million time...

tl;dr

You ask for a reason why he's bitching about the article. He gives you one. And you willingly refuse to read it because...it's too long? In a forum where you do nothing but read text?

I'm getting flashbacks from my GameFAQs message board days...

A person says they want cross game chat on PS3.

KingKellogg the Waffle Haggler responds with this gem. @aw3str1k3r: i hate cross game chat

That's right. He hates a feature that if it came to his favourite console, he wouldn't have to use, a feature that has no negatives. My brain hurts.

I think people sometimes confuse apathy with hatred. Any time anyone "hates" an entirely optional feature, be it Portal 2 hats or cross game chat, I wonder if they are really that offended or if they just don't know how to express that they are neither for nor against it.

Why do people act like theyve never looked down at their dick before(Maybe theyre too fat, theyre gamers after all....) or even fucking sucked a cock in their lives?

Jesus, dicks scare people so easily.

Wait are you saying that people act like they've never sucked a dick in their life? I act like that cause I haven't!....hmm I wonder why you say that :sherlock:

Kotaku, keepin the pageviews coming, already has three separate posts up about the Supreme Court decision. Reminds me of when Gizmodo covers the Apple events (not that they're allowed anymore) and there are some two dozen posts up, one for each minuscule announcement made.

I can't blame them for going after pageviews. It's how they make their money. My chief complaint in the focus of the gaming industry (Bash) and the way they have handled the redesign. In the industry I work in, if a customer complains, it goes through layers of people and is discussed in quality events we hold every year. Improvements are always expected in quality.

Then, today, Kotaku has been one screwed up site. The ca and uk.kotaku sites have both been, apparently, decommissioned, as they are redirecting to the "new and improved" site.

I shake my tiny fist at you, Gawker!

You make a classic mistake here, TheRevanchist: commenters and visitors are not Gawker's customers. The folks they sell ad space to are their customers.
