I don't really care about what Patricia posts as much as others but man some of these are hilarious.

Also to some of the people who like[d] Stephen back when it was lead by Crecente... any new thoughts on him? I liked Stephen but recently he's been getting out of hand imho. Like his undying defense of Patricia's articles are somehow poisoning him. The last few articles of his are very sarcastic/whiny in the sense of "Why we don't need sequels" and "why we don't need prequels"

One person, who described himself as an organizer in the Somali community, told the Star he had copies of a video that, he said, showed Ford smoking crack. This man was acting as a sort of broker for the person who had shot the video. What followed was a protracted discussion between the man and Star reporters. The broker said he represented two Somali men who had supplied crack cocaine to the mayor in the Dixon Rd. area. The Star was not able to verify those claims.

The man said his two associates (one had been present when the video was made and had done the filming) wanted “six figures for the video.” At another point he said they had originally wanted $1 million, but he had convinced them to lower the price. Asked why they were selling the video, the man said the two who claimed ownership of the video wanted to make a change in their lives and use the money to move out west to Calgary.

Doesn't sound too bad to me.

I think I'm done with Kotaku for the next few months until this shit calms down. Yesterday they announced they were gonna start being more strict with their commenting and have basically pin-pointed people who make cheesy and bad-taste jokes as targets of greying out and it seems like once again they hold the entire power on who gets recommended or not. I don't tend to do Nazi jokes [which by that I mean I do them all the time] but man this shit is getting ridiculous. Commenters are afraid to do jokes now because the Kotaku editors will now decide what's funny or not. Fuck that. I might have been popular but fuck it, I'll come back later as my fourth coming.

Oh yeah a couple weeks back chatting with a distant mate on FB and topic is on Kotaku and I mentioned about use to comment there a bit until I was banned during the "kotakuoplspe" thing. He mentioned reading about it on reddit at the time, some high profile commenter being banned and it going to shit. I was like "yeah, that was me they banned". He had a bit of a "oh shit, small world" moment.

Well the comment section is a cesspool due to terrible, unfunny jokes, and shitty gifs, I'm all for it.

http://www.penny-arcade.com/report/article/why-kotakus-nerd-shaming-article-made-me-uncomfortable

Apparently PAR disliked a brony/nerd shaming article on kotaku enough to write their own article about it.  I clicked the link out of morbid curiosity and OH LOOK IT'S PATRICIA HERNANDEZ AGAIN LIKE I TOTALLY FUCKING KNEW IT WAS GONNA BE.
