「Advent Chaos」
The firend I gave White to is gonna breed me ( ) an oshawott. Solid Snivy VS Revolver Oshawott. It doesn't get any better than this
Strangelove
They really should have made this game for the 3DS instead. It would have sold 3DS systems like crazy, not that Nintendo needs it. Just saying.
ChiltonGaines
Got White Version, and right now, my team is: Lv. 13 Pidove Lv. 12 Blitzle (that I named Mono) Lv. 13 Tepig Lv. 15 Lillipup Lv. 12 Purrloin Lv. 11 Pansage I will probably end up getting rid of Pidove if I find a better 'Mon, especially since it takes until level 20 to evolve. Since I don't really battle (with other people), I don't look at stats, just which ones I like. Blitzle's evolved form looks cool. And Purrloin is stupid, but Fury Swipes makes it bearable. I just wish I could get rid of the move Cut that I gave it...
Hot Heart
That's what I've always hated in the games. Having to give shitty, unchangeable HMs to some pokemon just to get through areas. Some of them are alright but Cut is defnitely not one you ever want to keep. It just bugs me because I usually have to devote one slot to a pointless HM move pokemon. Although I've read that the HM moves are more for exploring than actual story progression this time around.
ChiltonGaines
Hm. Also, does anyone know if we can breed starters other than with a Ditto? I got a male Tepig, and my brother and friend got male starters, and we wanna breed and swap. Any way to do so?

You'll just have to have a female Tepig (or its evolved forms) though to do it without a ditto. And then breed them with a member of its egg group. In this case the ground group. It lists them there in the pokedex entry for Tepig under egg groups http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/498.shtml

You could maybe get a female one in GTS, though you can probably just get the other starters that way as well, lol.

excel_excel
Kaminagator. Planning on having one of these in my squad. Its basic form is Sandile.....so cute! It kicks ass though. So as Krookodile its Dark/Ground and has base attack of 117 and base speed of 92. And a delectable move-pool.

CorgiShinobi
Got one of these guys at lvl. 8 in Dreamyard, and they make good with double battles. Basically a Chansey clone, but here's the thing... I looked through the entire 5th generation, but does anyone else see how so many of the new Pokemon act as clones? I'm starting to think Black and White really are reboots to the Pokemon series. I do love how they explain everything at the beginning! I have a friend who's playing through the 1st and 2nd generation games. Dude totally had the same problem as me back when I played them: what's the PC for? Professor Juniper is no Oak, but at least she sets her trainers straight instead of: DON'T GO INTO THE TALL GRASS! CorgiShinobi
Rather than bothering to change my wireless router to WEP, I temporarily borrowed an [apartment] neighbor's wireless. I know the dudes, and ever since August they have had a terrible open connection. It's the only one in the whole complex that willingly runs on WEP key. Like I said, terrible signal range. I ended up having to stand outside the front door and pointing my DS Lite at the window of the room with the router. Finally, after five tries, it saved the cartridge-system link stuff, and I got to receive my Liberty Pass! Victini, you better not suck PokeBalls! P4: Gritty Reboot
I am enjoying this Pokemon game a lot. My team is - Dewott - Lv. 20 Munna - Lv. 20 Pidove - Lv. 17 Roggenrola - Lv. 13 Blitzle - Lv. 15 Timburr - Lv. 13 I am going to get rid of either Roggenrola or Timburr, can't decide which. I have been over-leveling Dewott and Munna because they're both ridiculously good and are hard to not use... I'm in Pinwheel Forest after beating the second gym leader, Aunt Jemima. CorgiShinobi
UGHABALAHAR! Have you guys (with DS Lites) found a way to connect online without resorting to WEP key? I thought ot myself, "Crap, I know I'll have a 3DS come June, but right now I can't connect online!" So I thought that those Wi-Fi connectors Nintendo had years ago might do the trick. Go online, get some used one for cheap, and be satisfied for a few months. Oh, well, except people are selling them for a high price. Oh, and the blasted thing doesn't work with Windows 7! Man... I feel like I can't enjoy the whole game because the C-Gear will never work (for now).
deanb
That's all in game, inside the Black or White case there's a small "booklet" that says what you need to do to get the "liberty pass". It's basically Mystery Gift. Hey that's my DS! It's my DS too Sorry on late reply, just not following the thread too closely as I've yet to pick up the game. deanb
I'm not too bothered with NDS wifi at the moment but I have a spare wi-fi router that my step-dad nicked from work (he tried to use it himself but he has the wrong modem type) so my plan is to plug that into our router and have it broadcast a WEP encrypted signal. I've not bothered with hooking it up to test though. I think I'll do it now actually.

I still have a DS Lite and that variant of the Nintendo DS, along with the original (Phat), is limited to WEP. EDIT: I still have my old Linksys Wireless-G router, so I guess I could do what you're doing Dean. However, I can't remember the settings for it. Part of the reason why I went ahead with a Linksys Wirless-N E2000 is because a friend screwed with the settings. She needed to use our Internet, but I wasn't around. My roommates are not that savvy when it comes to Networking. She enters the PIN number, with the help of my roommates, and basically overtook the network and screwed everyone over until I came home. Hot Heart
I never got my DSLite to work with my router but someone mentioned connecting via Wii (or someone's Wii if you don't have one). Maybe worth pursuing?
