McBeeferton
I never got my DSLite to work with my router but someone mentioned connecting via Wii (or someone's Wii if you don't have one). Maybe worth pursuing? WHAT?!

excel_excel
UGHABALAHAR! Have you guys (with DS Lites) found a way to connect online without resorting to WEP key? I thought ot myself, "Crap, I know I'll have a 3DS come June, but right now I can't connect online!" So I thought that those Wi-Fi connectors Nintendo had years ago might do the trick. Go online, get some used one for cheap, and be satisfied for a few months. Oh, well, except people are selling them for a high price. Oh, and the blasted thing doesn't work with Windows 7! Man... I feel like I can't enjoy the whole game because the C-Gear will never work (for now). I bought the USB connectors Nintendo sold ages ago. but with Windows 7 its fucking useless to me!!!! Maybe worth pursuing? WHAT?! I think it might be possible seeing as you connect the DS with the Wii to download DS demo's....I'll have to try it out.... EDIT: Nope. Strangelove
I have one of those wifi connectors. They don't make them anymore and gamestop wont even buy them. I should probably put it up online somewhere.
excel_excel
Caught Victini!! Not going to use him as part of my team though. A Legend this early will make things too easy
CorgiShinobi
Is Audino actually rare? According to Bulbapedia, Audino can appear anywhere in grass, but only when you see a shaking patch. Reason I bring this is because I've ran into, like, three (including my own)!
Toshi
I did the Zoroa event and evolved him to Zoroark... but I feel he isn't as good as I hoped.

Toshi
well, in shaking grass they're usually the most abundant. what pisses me off was trying to catch drillbur and getting like 10 gems.
CorgiShinobi
Eff, I just got through that forest after the second gym battle. I (idiotically) forgot to bring along Super Potions and a few Ethers. I won the second gym battle with six lvl 17 Pokemon, none fainted, but it took a while. I'm going to want to head back to the forest, to finish off the Trainers I left behind. The bridge was huge, but all that was going through my mind was, "No more Trainers... NO MORE TRAINERS!" Team so far... Dewott lvl 19 Pansear lvl 18 Pidove lvl 20 Roggenrolla lvl 18 Audino lvl 18 Blitzle lvl 19 I was about to give up on Blitzle because of the terrible Defense stat, but after finishing the Trainer battle during that thought, the lil' Electric-type learned a Fire-type move! Really, one part of me is annoyed at how so many Pokemon early on learn powerful moves. Another part of me begins scoffing at the "type advantage" when Pokemon like Timburr know Rock Throw and Blitzle know Fire Charge.
excel_excel
Just after beating Burgh the 3rd gym, the bug gym leader. My main squad is... All currently Lv.26 Darumaka! Really good fire Pokemon Drilbur! Really good ground Pokemon Servine! Evolution of my starter Munna! Cause its a great Psychic Pokemon? What? Hot Heart
Are there any trainers you can fight again to earn more money? I'm only asking because I remember there is a restaurant in Platinum where you could find doubles and that was always handy for getting some cash (even though I try and avoid using potions and such, I just can't help hoarding things in RPGs...) CorgiShinobi
I kinda want to use Victini in my team, and I know he's a legendary, but so far I haven't come across any good Fire-types. Like, I do have Pansear, but he still only know Incinerate as his Fire-type move. All his other moves are Rock Smash, Fury Swipes, and Yawn. I guess I could go find Darumaka on Route 4. Just read his White description: Darumaka's droppings are hot, so people used to put them in their clothes to keep themselves warm. Still, Fire and Psychic is where I'm lacking. Dewott is a strong Water-type; Audino is a tank of a Normal-type; Pidove is Normal-Flying, but I love the stats and Big Peck ability; Roggenrolla, a Rock-type, has been really handy with Mud Slap, Harden (Iron Defense at lvl 20), and Rock Blast; Blitzle, again, I almost gave up on (low Defense), but that Flame Charge has saved him. TCP
Does anyone know how to remove a Pokemon's nickname? Is it even possible?
「Advent Chaos」
Does anyone know how to remove a Pokemon's nickname? Is it even possible? Eventually (like the past games) you'll run into the "Name Rater", he must in some house in some town (IM SO HELPFUL). Talk to the guy and he'll allow you to change the nickname. I really don't think they removed him in black & white.
CorgiShinobi
I didn't realize you could hit OK and have the original name if you accidently pushed "Yes" for nicknames. I was impatient and so my Oshawott/Dewott has been named, "Watter."

CorgiShinobi
Alright, you can find the Name Rater in Castelia City. However, if you want the original Pokemon name, I'm not sure if it'll work. I'm worried that the game will think the Pokemon name is the nickname. As such, I decided to name my Dewott "Jackie." You know, because the final evolution is Samurott, which is like Samurai. There was... Samurai Jack, and...
