Uncharted 3

No worries. There was a video on the pretty nifty Uncharted TV thing but it's not that well signposted.

I just find that its hard to kill guys who are rolling and jumping. Uncharted 2 had the same problem when people jumped back and forth.

I cannot for the life of me understand WHY they decided to change how Nate moves. Uncharted 2 was so fluid, and Uncharted 3 feels so robotic.

The co-op adventure stuff is really fun. Just hope there's a lot more of it this time.

One thing I do love about competitive is that you no longer have to get roped into some 'yanked off a ledge' animation when someone's dangling below you (annoying when you're not right by the side) because you can kick that fucker off the wall first. :D

Come to think of it, Bradley Cooper could be an alright Drake.

Yeah, I thought that. I think he's just too cocky personality-wise (I've never seen him not be in acting). Drake's not full-on cocky, he just acts it to take the piss out of his enemies.

I know who WOULD be a perfect Nathan Drake. I can't say how good an actor he is as he has only been in one thing ever, but he looks exactly like the man: http://www.daemonstv.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/ot5_nathan_066r-60652523-t3.jpg

I'm pretty sure he's even called Nate in the show. Man.

@Slag- I think they're tried to make it smoother in 3, but the animation has just come off as being too complicated so it doesn't seem as smooth or pure. Too many movements and weird angles. I feel that loss in UC3 the most- the purity. There's almost too much ornamenting in the movements and gameplay; UC2 felt so formulaic and perfect. I think I said that above.

I wouldn't mind if it was on par with Uncharted 2 (just as good as, if not more). I am simply excited to delve into the story they've presented us as we get to learn more about the characters and their roles within the plot and with each other. I think I'm most excited to learn about Nate and Sully as that was one of my main interests when playing the first title.

Dang. I'll also chuck this in the Metacritic thread me thinks.

I used to be on the fence with Jaffe, but as time goes on I lean more towards liking him. I now think it's a good thing when he opens his mouth.

Ha. That's pretty much how I feel. Has he mellowed out maybe? :P

Anyway, I have long stood by Eurogamer reviews and I can't see anything wrong here either. Of course, I haven't played the full game yet...like every other person even commenting on this.

Either way, too much fucking talk about scores rather than the substance of a review.

Eurogamer and Edge are definitely my go-to guys. The score is just a superficial value backed up by the actual review. Which you have to read. In order to understand the score.

The reviews I read of UC3 say that is doesn't make much headway over 2, but it's still incredible, obviously. I really look forward to it.

I think they overcomplicated the competitive side of things with UC3. At least, the first go around of the Beta was way too cluttered. Too much going on, weird powerups, complicated and hard-as-nails customisation system. The Beta version that's currently on the PSN seems much improved; but I still enjoy playing Hardcore mode the most as it's just about you and your skills, not all this Powerplay and Booster bullshit.

I'd have to agree with you on that. It can be nice to surprise people with an RPG you've suddenly spawned but I feel it's the loadout stuff really ruins the game, especially for new starters. Finding an M4 or a sniper rifle was good but only temporary, now everyone above a certain level can spawn with them.

As far as I'm aware, it is not a beta but the complete competitive multiplayer side to the game.
