TheMightyEthan
They made a fighting game as a direct sequel to an RPG?
Strangelove
They add tons of dialogue between fights. Im not much of a fan of that, but it works in adding story.

Mister Jack
Were you downloading all your games digitally? Edited August 8, 2012 by Mister Jack
TCP
Well shit, I just filled up my 16gb card. I need to upgrade to a 32gb. If anyone wants to buy a 16gb card, let me know. Ill make you a deal that you might refuse. I got 12gb left on my 32, hopefully I can get Perona 4, LittleBigPlanet, and Assassin's Creed on it. I really wish they'd introduce a 64gb card, but that'd probably cost thousands of dollars.
Thursday Next
Hearing lots of positive buzz about soundshapes. Hope there is a demo.
Strangelove
Psone support on August 28. New game by Media Molecule called "Tearaway." Looks awesome. "Killzone: Mercenary". Looks amazing too. The live actions tuff is lame, but the gameplay looks great. New "Crossbuy" system where you buy the PS3 copy and get the Vita version for free. All Stars, Sly Cooper, and Ratchet & Clank are the ones who will support it so far. Ill use this option if the Vita version is a dlc code and not an actual cartridge. As far as Im concerned, Tearaway, Killzone and The crossbuy thing makes up for the shitty E3 the Vita had. Still want an inFamous game on here though. Mister Jack
Are there trailers out for those new vita games?
danielpholt
Its the first time since launch day that i'm excited for the future of this system. For one, i might finally get to play FF7 through to completion...on the bus.
Strangelove
They closed the show with CoD Black ops Declassified. It's actually real and it actually looks like a console CoD game. I was getting worried there for a second since we hadnt seen anything about it except a logo. It's not my thing, but since they closed the show with it im assuming theyre banking on this to sell a ton of Vitas. I wonder if it will. I think it needs more third party support still(Maybe a new Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, or Final Fantasy spinoff) but this is a good start. danielpholt
I'd love to see a classic Resi game on the Vita. Speaking of which, what are the chances of the original games being available through the PSone support? Is there a chance i'll get my fix that way or should i just accept its not going to happen any time soon? Cross-Buy is an idea we've pretty much accepted needed to happen. However i hope Sony don't go overboard with it. Offering the games as a double is nice, but if they go too far it might damage people's perception of the Vita. Sly Cooper is a game i've got a fair amount of interest in. I've never played a Sly game before, but from what i see it looks pretty nice. Same goes with Ratchet. I'm excited. Genuinely so. Strangelove
Well, it was worded as "ALL your favorite PSone games" when they announced it. So Im assuming its going to be full PSone support. Otherwise Ill be stuck replaying FF7 I guess.

Strangelove
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/08/14/psone-classics-coming-to-ps-vita-via-the-latest-system-software-update-v1-80/ One of the key announcements coming out of Gamescom today is that the next PS Vita System Software Update (v1.80) is coming your way late August, and will add support for playing PSone Classics on your PlayStation Vita. I know a lot of you have been looking forward to playing original PlayStation titles on the go. In addition, you will be able to make various setting changes while games are running and take screenshots of your gameplay. *It might not be possible to take screenshots in some applications, or in some parts of applications. Listed below are a few other new features that will be added with the 1.80 update: Cross Controller The new Cross-Controller feature will allow you to use PS Vita as a controller to play compatible games on PS3, such as LittleBigPlanet 2. This feature lets you take advantage of PS Vita’s rich features including the touch screen, rear touch pad, six-axis motion sensing system, and cameras. To access the cross controller feature you need to launch the Remote Play application and then click on the Cross-Controller icon. Controls As many of you have requested, you will now have the option to control the home screen and some features of applications such as Videos and Music with the buttons on the PS Vita system. Music Playlists will be supported in Music. You will be able to transfer iTunes (10.6.3 or later), M3U, and M3U8 playlists from a PS3 or a PC using Content Manager. Web Browser Rear touch pad operation will be supported by the browser, allowing you to scroll through and zoom out of pages without obscuring the screen. Video The following controls have been added to Videos: Playback speed control Repeat play Photos Viewing photos in MPO format will now be supported, with the ability to transfer MPO files from PS3™ and PC using Content Manager. * 3D and multi-angle viewing are NOT supported. Group Messaging Along with some new layout enhancements, you will be able to take photos to add as attachments when writing Group Messages. Maps The Maps feature has been improved by adding a button on the top screen to switch between “Search for Location” and “Search for Directions.” You can also touch and hold a location on the map and place a user flag. “near” “near” will be able to gather the information of surrounding Wi-Fi access points without internet connection and update the location data based on it later. You can get location data within the area covered by Wi-Fi location services.

Still want an inFamous game on here though. I'm hoping it'll be a download code. Giving away a cart with each blu-ray would get expensive, and would cause non-Vita owners to just sell their cart back to EB Games. Actually, what I think would be most likely, since Sony seems to love same day digital releases, is if you buy the game on PSN you get both versions for free, like Soundshapes. That'd stop people giving away their download codes. Unless said mentioned the retail Blu-ray..?? I'd also like a portable inFamous, I really want to have a big, open world, console style game on the Vita. Hopefully Assassin's Creed will fill that role for me till we get a portable inFamous. fuchikoma
I'm most excited to hear that you can use buttons to control the home screen and basic functions. That felt really stilted to me when I got my Vita, especially after coming from the slick XMB on PSP and PS3.
danielpholt
COD: Declassified seems to be taking a bit of a beating on the internet this morning. Granted, the trailer wasn't fantastic but i can't help but feel its because its cool to hate on the COD franchise right now. I'll hold judgement until we see a little more of actual gameplay. The trailer did make me laugh though. "All New Covert Missions" immediately followed up by grenades blowing up and a guy going Rambo through a base. Very covert. TCP
Make no mistake, I do not play Call of Duty games, but I was hoping this game would be good as that would be good for the Vita. But I think people are disappointed with the developer, and the fact that game looked pretty bad, especially compared to the Killzone gameplay footage. danielpholt
I'm throwing money at Sony right now, but for whatever reason i'm getting error message after error message after error message. TAKE MY MONEY!
TCP
That happened to me a few months ago. They stopped liking my credit card. And then, like two months later, they accepted it again. Weird.
danielpholt
Ahem...my registered card was out of date. Still Sony's fault though. *walks off with his tail between his legs. Edited August 15, 2012 by bigdanhero
Mister Jack
The Killzone footage did look better than the Call of Duty footage. Whoa, I think I just had an out of body experience by saying that.
TheMightyEthan
Ahem...my registered card was out of date. Still Sony's fault though. *walks off with his tail between his legs. I'd say it actually is Sony's fault for making their error message unhelpful. If it had just said "Your card is out of date" you could have fixed it and been done.
Thursday Next
Sony are annoyingly vague/cryptic with their error messaging. If you are going to spit out a code, you might as well drop in a line about what is wrong. Admittedly, this would require localisation and such which is probably why it doesn't happen.
