TCP
Fuck I forgot about All-stars... shit. Sony, release a 64GB card! I'll give you whatever you want!!!!!!!
fuchikoma
Yeah, the icon remains, probably also tied to basic installed data when applicable. Maybe also to your save files since there's no way to manage saved games on this thing.
TCP
I'm hoping that changes next month since we'll be able to upload save data to the cloud.
sixrocket
I got urbanix before the pulled it from the store, activated the exploit a few days ago. Now, I can play PSP isos, homebrew, and emulators via it. Realistically, considering how much they charge for PSP games in the PSN store, I would recommend you do this. Wait for a new game with an exploit to be added.
deanb
http://penny-arcade.com/report/editorial-article/call-of-duty-declassifed-is-horrible-but-its-sony-who-will-be-punished A decent article on the fiasco that has been COD Blops Declassified. (Though going off what you lot have been saying he seems to be unfairly laying into AC Liberation)
TheMightyEthan
I would describe my impression of Liberation to be comparable to Revelations, but trying to be objective I don't think it was actually as good. It was fun, but I wouldn't recommend someone buy the Vita for it. Gravity Rush, on the other hand, I think justifies a Vita by itself. Fantastic game.
Strangelove
Sonic All Stars comes out tomorrow. So does Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Lumines is getting a price drop and Rayman Origins and LBPVita are going to be on sale. Fuck. Im definitely getting Stranger's Wrath. I have it on PS3, but Id love it on Vita. Probably get Lumines too if its under 20 bucks. And probably Rayman Origins. Fuck.
deanb
http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/17/report-ps-vita-32gb-memory-card-can-display-100-apps-no-more/ So there's a limit on how many "apps" your Vita will hold at once, regardless of storage.
Strangelove
It's been known since day one. I admit it's stupid, but I doubt many people have over 100 apps. Even with a 32gb, that thing will fill up fast unless all you have are ps minis.
Thursday Next
While I wouldn't be surprised if people *have* over 100 apps, having over one hundred apps that are needed at the time seems unlikely. Especially if a number of those are retail bubbles. That said, I would appreciate a folder system or something to get around this, and just to make navigating the Vita easier. TheMightyEthan
A folder system is desperately needed. Also, some less-cumbersome way to move a bunch bubbles between pages together.
TheFlyingGerbil
For what it's worth, games with push to talk are great. Not so much for the other people, but I like being able to keep my mic turned off 95% of the time but be able to turn it on the odd time I need to say something. TCP Official Outlandish Predictions: 1) They won't announce price (but when they do: 399) 2) They won't announce date (except for Fall 2013) (but when they do, two weeks before Xbox) 3) Games will be shown, but not playable 4) All games streamable to the Vita 5) It WILL be backwards compatible 6) Vita price drop will be announced 7) More Vita connectivity fun for PS4 8) It will NOT be called the PlayStation Four 9) The Last Guardian and/or Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be announced as a PS4 game 10) I'll have a nerd freakout panic attack due to excitement They've announced a price drop in Japan today, so number 6 is looking quite likely if not actually at the wednesday conference. They're dropped both the wifi (previously ¥24,980/£172/$270) and 3G model (previously ¥29,980/£206/$323) to the same price of ¥19,980 in Japan – the equivalent of £137/$215. I guess dropping them both to the same price means they'll phase out one of them? it seems too soon to be updating the range with replacements. which do you thing is going?
Waldorf and Statler
I feel the 3G will get phased out. And I'm assuming this means the Vita is now $200. I mean after having just played P4G I can't see the point of buying one unless they do something cool with the PS4 with it.
TCP
The 3G will probably get phased out for the 4G/LTE model that was rumoured awhile back... which is what should have happened in the first place. The Vita has a pretty great library for a system that's been out 12 months, and I think 250 for it is a reasonable price for a great piece of hardware. They need to drastically slash the price of the memory cards though. Whether or not they're expensive to produce, people aren't willing to spend that much on such little memory. Waldorf and Statler
It IS a very solid machine, having had one for the past 2 weeks and all. It's just that the 3DS has all these games I re-he-he-he-heaaaally want to play while I'm not as into PS exclusives outside of J-RPG's as other people. But yeah the memory card pricing is something that is keeping me away for now. End of the day I won't make any decisions on my console purchases for the next year till the 20th. Can't wait. Faiblesse Des Sens
The memory card pricing is comparable to microSD card's MSRPs. I don't know why people make such a big deal out of it.

Faiblesse Des Sens
First resutls on Google for me: PS Vita 32gb MSRP: $100 Sandisk 32gb MicroSD MSRP: $200 Anyways, a more realistic comparison: Change to 16gb- MSRP: $60 Compare it to class 10 16gb MicroSD card's MSRPs
TCP
I'm pretty sure, like four years ago, I got a 32gb microSD card out of Asia for like 5 dollars.
madbassman39
First resutls on Google for me: PS Vita 32gb MSRP: $100 Sandisk 32gb MicroSD MSRP: $200 Anyways, a more realistic comparison: Change to 16gb- MSRP: $60 Compare it to class 10 16gb MicroSD card's MSRPs That is an expensive Micro SD card, way way overpriced. I searched Amazon and the average price for a 32 gb micro SD comes up to about $50.Half of the PS Vita card. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=32+gb+micro+sd+card
Thursday Next
You need to be considering Class 10 cards only. Which brings that average up. You still pay extra for the Vita Card, but it's in the same ball park.
TheFlyingGerbil
Vita 32GB card ~£60 I bought a class 10 (actually that new UHS class)Sandisk microSD for £17 with an adaptor from a reputable company. so the vita is over 3 times the price. That is more of a national park than a ball park. Not to mention since you have to have it, it pushes the purchase price of the console nearer to £300, which is dearer than any home console. TheMightyEthan
For the millionth time: they are not comparable. 32GB Vita memory stick, $80. 32GB Samsung class 10 microSDHC, $30. And that's not even taking into account the fact that Vita memory cards are really more like a class 4-6. They're something like 3 times as expensive as they should be. Apparently the price has gone up to $60 on the Samsung card I linked, but here's a SanDisk one for $33 right now. They are not comparable and they are not in the same ballpark even. Especially considering that when you actually look at the performance they're not even comparable to Class 10's. *Edit* - Hell, I can get a 64GB version of that SanDisk card and it's STILL (barely) cheaper than the 32GB Vita card. *Edit 2* - That was a bad comparison, that was a standard SDHC card, not a micro. But, hilariously, here's a SanDisk micro one that's even cheaper. And the 64GB version of it is still $25 cheaper than the 32 GB Vita card. So maybe in other countries they're comparable, but in the US the Vita cards are WAY overpriced. *Edit 3* - BTW, it's not even like I had to search hard, that card was the first result for "class 10 micro sdhc" on Amazon. Faiblesse Des Sens
You're comparing sale price and not MSRP.
TheMightyEthan
Because MSRP doesn't matter at all to consumers, it's a stupid fake thing to compare. What matters is what the consumer can pay to purchase comparable items. You'll notice the Vita card is also marked down from MSRP. *Edit* - And even if I compare MSRP, the SanDisk card is STILL 30% lower than the Vita card.
