TCP
40 dollars for the Angry Birds Trilogy Vita port? Hahahaha OK Rovio.
Mister Jack
You'd be surprised how well that sells
TCP
I was prepared to drop 10 bones. You know, for the trophies. I think the only other Vita game I've spent 40 dollars on was Uncharted. :-/
TheMightyEthan
I really can't comprehend why anyone pays money for those games when you can get them on your phone or the internet for free.
Mister Jack
Ignorance, mostly. People buy those games as gifts way more than they do for themselves.
Vecha
Really loving the vita. Wish there were more rpgs for it though...
TCP
Like the Final Fantasy legacy series?!? Or the upcoming Dragon Quest 1-8 iOS ports?! OR Final Fantasy Type-0?!?!?!?!?!? OR A PORT OF ELDER SCROLLS III: MORROWIND?!??!?!
deanb
My little brother has Angry Birds on PS3. It's cheaper than buying a tablet for him to play it on and harder to break too.

TheMightyEthan
My little brother has Angry Birds on PS3. It's cheaper than buying a tablet for him to play it on and harder to break too. Surely he has access to a PC that he could use to play the web version.
deanb
1. Web version? 2. Not trusted with a cheap tablet, pretty sure not trusted with the many times more expensive and important family laptop.
TheMightyEthan
Well, Chrome version, not Web version. http://chrome.angrybirds.com/ You can also play Angry Birds Star Wars on Facebook. deanb
Ah. Was aware of the Chrome version. Would require getting Chrome installed mind, which'd never happen, and the aforementioned "no child on the laptop" thing (which also would apply to Facebook too). Basically it's about £10, nice n simple to do, and no bother with other devices. For a child it's ideal. Less so with a Vita version mind, I'm not seeing those points carry across. TCP
Final Fantasy V works on Vita now, if you were waiting for that, you can download straight from the store.
Chronixal
I'm sure those 4 people who like FFV will be happy.
Mal
http://www.vg247.com/2014/01/24/sony-teases-new-slim-announcement/ Maybe related with the Vita. And yes, I am still in the mood for a PS4/Vita bundle. School/work related tech purchases takes priority.
Mister Jack
I'm actually cool with my launch version of the vita. The screen is something that makes me want to hold on to it. I can totally understand why they feel the need to change it though.
TCP
Yeah the original Vita is awesome, but I think they want to cut down on price. Anyways, hopefully this is Vita-2000 and Vita TV. I want it, I want it bad.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, I really want a Vita TV too.
CorgiShinobi
The only downside to the 2000 is the LCD screen, but if it's a good price, I think it'll be a popular option. While it's not a lot, the 1GB would help out for anyone who wants the device and a physical game first without the need of paying for a high capacity memory card (right away). Well, so long as the game you pick doesn't have a large patch file. Edited January 25, 2014 by Atomsk88
Mal
I don't recall hearing about the Vita TV which brings me to this thought: Dude, remote play on a separate TV. The TV that had the PS4 is taken over? No problem. I can see it being really popular for you married folks. As for the OLED/LED switch, I think its a nice compromise with all the nicer stuff.
TCP
Theory: the Vita TV will be announced for North America but it'll be renamed with "slim" in the title, which would explain the invitation saying the "following the biggest launch in PlayStation history, join us for an introduction to the slimmest". I mean, the Vita-2000 is slim but it's not THAT slim. If I was Sony, I'd redesign the Vita TV to look like a little tiny PS4, complete with the slanted design and LED stripe. Everyone would look at it and say "awwwwwe!".

Because a japanese gaming company creating confusion between the relations, or lack thereof, between their consoles has never gone wrong at all.
TheMightyEthan
It would make sense to adopt some of the aesthetic though.
Mister Jack
A tiny little ps4 would be so cute and I would totally want one.
