Just to update this but me and Dave have got press passes now.

He's down for the Friday and Saturday and I'm down.... for Firday-Sunday. My bad.

We only have a limit of 2 passes per site and the Thursday tickets are now gone afaik, meaning if anyone is interested then there's only the Sunday spot left unless I have a word with the EG guys n see if I can get one of my days taken off. (probably Sunday too)

Forgot to update the OP on this.

But yeah, I can see the GAME one being quite dead. EG have the semi-guaranteed audience. And most devs now seem to be hating on GAME for their choice of date.

If it's anything like previous years, all the in-game goodies you get with your online ticket will be worth far more than the $40 on ebay and other such sites.

Ah, that's fair enough then. If it's ~$40 of content plus a video feed, then have at it. Not that anyone needs my blessing.

Cheers for the info. :)

Blizzcon is notoriously difficult to get tickets to, not to mention some of the other expenses for folks who don't live in California.

The tickets will seriously sell out in under half an hour, if they even last that long. They're usually all gone with the first ten minutes. Completely kills Blizzard's websites.

So with PAX Prime over and hearing how folks here liking it, I decided to take a look at the prices for the passes. $60 for a three day pass? That is a fair price. I just might plan to go next year since my fall quarter doesn't start until Sept. 19th and PAX happens around this time of the year before my classes starts.

So yeah, saving up $60 for the pass and however much for the transportation and hotels (Guessing $300, $500 in total for everything). I might go, I might not go. I'll see how uni kicks my ass and such. I got a year to see.

If any of you folks even think you might go next year, post. It doesn't hurt to plan WAAAY ahead.
