deanb
I'm on whatever is standard with Cyanogen, which I think is ADW.
Faiblesse Des Sens
People use launcher pro these days? It seems so slow and dated compared to ADW EX and zeam ADW costs $; I just tried Zeam and it didn't have the stock-looking dock that I like. It didnt appear to have any better customization options either. Maybe I need to spend some time with it. It has less options but runs a hell of a lot faster. Also, ADW EX, like any other app, is incredibly easy to get for free. @Dean, yeah it's the old crappy ADW. Luckily whomever put together the ROM I use had zeam I didn't have to even download it myself

Faiblesse Des Sens
Nightlies already after the official release of 7? Any new features?
staySICK
nightlies for the Galaxy S version of CM, which is still in development and not officially a part of Cyanogenmod.. so a port. Still a number of bugs to be worked out, but from what I've read is its reasonable for everyday use currently. I'm running into some trouble... but it sounds like most are my own doing. My next phone will probably be a Inspire 4G (aka AT&T Desire HD), which is officially supported by CM, and will have CM 7 Final.
deanb
I'm now on CM7. Very nice. I seemed to have done something wrong along the way though, no market at the moment. btw how long does it take your devices to update/flash? It took like 3-4 hours for me. Just seemed to crash then I went into the whatever it is (like the HTC BIOS, hold the "trackball" while turning it on) n fucked about n poof it all loaded up fine. Which I seem to remebr doing when I first put on CM6 too.
Faiblesse Des Sens
If you have no market you likely need to flash a "google apps" file. That's what I always have to do with CM. Check wherever you downloaded from. Anyways, 3-4 hours for the entire process of looking up how to do it or seriously 3-4 for the install? Cuz it should be less than ten minutes. deanb
The install, with the blue Android dude n spinning Cyanogen circle thing going around him. It all kinda sorted itself out sharpish after going through the HTC BIOS thing, so I'm guessing there's a couple steps missing. edit: And yeah I have the google apps stuff, confused on why it did't work. Let's see if I can do it manually.
King Jimmeh
I don't know if there has been anything mentioned previously about it, but is there a good alternative to using the basic Android OS on the Xperia Play. Am in the UK, and it seems very, very limited.
Faiblesse Des Sens
Hit up XDA. Also, if you're on an Xperia Play, then it's not basic Android, iirc. It wouldn't surprise me if there isn't much considering the device doesn't seem to be hugely popular and it's been region limited for a while (in fact... I'm still not sure if it's out in the US.) deanb
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1090 - here's your best spot, it seems it's rooted, but not with any ROM's made for it. It's quite different to others and I'd imagine people don't want to lose the PS:Suite access. edit: I hate it when I make a post n just leave it
