Personally I enjoyed the look of Beast in First Class, thought it was a good departure and similar to the newer look of Beast (Secret Avenger Beast).

Oh, I liked the look, but it just could've done with a little more movement for the facial features and such. I'm sure they'd give Singer the budget for CGI...

I hated cat Beast from First Class. Probably the ONLY thing I disliked from that movie compared to the other Xmen films.

Anyways, a lot of these are pretty bad, or just generic and boring. I could spend all my time nitpicking shit and at the end of the day Id say all of these suck because theres a few little details I dislike, but I wont. Most are actually passable. I hate that they changed Past Magneto's helmet and the chest piece looks a little too big, but its still a good costume. I can live with it. Same with most of these.

I do like Blink though. And it looks like future Magneto finally got a real villain costume.

Havok is just bad though. So is Quicksliver and the past Sentinel. Im hoping to god the future Sentinel is going to look badass, since no one has yet to see it. Im assuming the past Sentinel looks stupid because its new tech from the 1970s and the updated future version will look like what fans want.

My biggest issue with Toad is that he looks very different from the original X-men version, but I assume that is future Toad, which is Okay by my standards.

I always treated First Class as a reboot without actually rebooting the franchise, and my understanding is that this movie is going to be their reset button, retconning everything from X3 and Wolverine Origins.

It's past Toad. I shouldn't have to explain why.

This has nothing to do with the comics and only to do with the movie continuity.

I don't recall any of the movies explicitly saying Toad had died. He was struck by lightning and send screaming off into the ocean. Not one other part of any of the other movies said he was dead.

Toad didn't return in 2 or 3, but that doesn't mean he didn't live. We've seen almost every X-men survive blows that should knock and or kill a person, Cyclops blasted Sabertooth, so suspension of disbelief tells me that there is a possibility that Toad survived.

So now, tell me how it is obvious that Toad isn't in the future?

1. FDS is correct, it's past toad (as below image will illustrate)

2. Days of Future Past is a fucking awesome comic book name. Far better than plain jane "Civil War".

The full stitched panorama. I guess it answers my question if they'll have Nimrod in. I've a feeling this is going to be a lot of folks to wedge into a movie, should really be a trilogy to fit all the elements of DoFP into it (heck it was a whole series back when cartoon X-men covered it)

(right click - "open in new tab" for this one. It's big.)
