X-Men

I'll be totally honest here; I enjoyed the opening hour of The Last Stand. I understand why it's hated by everyone, but I enjoyed it for one reason or another. The Wolverine on the other hand was a complete miss for me. Again I can see why people would enjoy it, but for me it lacked anything that made me remotely interested in the story or its characters.

*I acknowledged that The Last Stand has a fucking awful final hour, and that it mishandles characters like no ones business.

I haven't seen the second Wolverine movie either, I would organize my favorite identical to yours FDS but I would swap the bottom two. Although they may both be equally as bad in my opinion.

Days of Future Past was such a well done film, but First Class had me more interested in the X-men series as a whole. I'm glad to see the franchise turned around with great movies.

The entire franchise is bad, not quite Transformers bad, but close.

But if I were to rank them from least shitty to honest to balls bad:

First Class > DoFP > BIG STEP DOWN > X2 > X1 > ANOTHER BIG STEP DOWN > The Wolverine > Last Stand > Origins Wolverine

Can we just have a full reboot - new cast new everything?

Wait Stay_sick, you're saying about a reboot with a new cast, but that's what First Class and DoFP is, and you've put those above the older films. What's bad about the X-Men franchise? I'd say it's doing a pretty good job (Last Stand and Origins aside), especially given the source material isn't exactly simple to follow through and they're having to strip away a fair bit so folks at home can follow along (and with the whole lack of non-X-Men folks which does stop covering stuff like House of M and what not that involve other heroes)

It's possible to have an X-Men series without doing actual comic storylines.  My main problem with the franchise is the movies just aren't very good.  The casting beyond Prof X and Magneto are terrible, the scripts are bad, The movies just do a good job of falling flat on their face and that's about it.

Making-Of for the quicksilver scene. Unfortunately they're using their own player so I can't embed, and it's also pretty stuttery.

They do have their own YT channel though, so it might pop up there
