CyberToyger
And now I've got a working fix for Google Chrome! :3 This one is a bit more involved (not too much though) since neither of the Extensions I've found allow more than 1 rule for any given site; so we're going to use them together! First, you'll want to download both Extensions for your Google Chrome browser URL rewrite -- https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/komcbjcddfoenapanpklckpcfjgjacni?hl=en X-Rewrite -- https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/langnpndhfmohaeoedgipojfaiffdfck?hl=en Once you've downloaded and installed those, we'll want to click on the Wrench Icon to access the drop-down menu, go down to Tools, and then Extensions Look for 'URL Rewrite' and then click on the blue Options link. It should open up a blue-teal screen in a new tab. In the first box [sOURCE (pattern)] you'll want to type in " http://kotaku.com/#! ". Ignore the [modifiers] field. In the [DESTINATION] box you'll want to type in " http://ca.kotaku.com/ ". Click "Add" once you're done and then restart Google Chrome. You'll want to click on the Wrench Icon, go to Tools, Extensions just like last time, but now we're going to look for 'X-Rewrite' and click on the blue Options link. You'll get a rather plain screen with a few pre-written rules, you can go ahead and delete them by click the X's on the right. Now, click on the "ADD" button and in the 'Pattern' box, type in " ^http://kotaku.com/ ". In the 'Rewrite' box, type in " http://ca.kotaku.com/ ", and then click "SAVE". Restart Chrome and visit Kotaku! :3 For Firefox users click here

SkyGriever
Just a PSA for everyone, if you want, it also works with other Gawker sites. I'm currently using the workaround on Gizmodo and Lifehacker.
