I seriously don't mean to make this a thing still, but if there's any positive to this #TheDress, it's that people have learned more about color and the phenomenon known as "color constancy." It was actually something I learned early on in one of my basic design classes. In fact, the brown-orange color was the example that was taught in class.

If you find it (because I'm a little lazy to find it again), there's a gif out there that perfectly illustrates how color is a product of light and uses the dress. Shine an incandescent light close to an object and the lighting will affect the inherent color of the object.

You guys ever had to argue with a professor about the color of things like rocks and soil? It's impossible to win because of this issue and from people own perspectives. It isn't like one of you are wrong either since both of you are right... and that is how a company can make mad dosh on color books.

That's one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. Although for some reason toward the end of the video it kept freezing for me, kinda. The sound would keep playing, and it would still let me look around, but the video would stop.

Notice to Fuck this Court and Everything It Stands For.

The Notice is hilarious.  She's mad that the judge dismissed her petition "for no reason".  Her petition was claiming that she can't be made to pay federal income taxes because you can't be a citizen of the United States and an individual state at the same time, so as a citizen of Florida she's not a citizen or natural of the United States, and since the authorization to impose income taxes only applies to citizens and naturals of the United States they can't tax her.  Her legal reasoning is so sound that the judge dismissed it without justification just so he wouldn't have to admit he couldn't refute it.
