Waldorf and Statler
Adam Sandler had his time, and it was early 90's to early 2000's. That's a 15+ years span where he was the king. Then he started to hang out with Kevin James and David Spade. NOBODY. NOBODY. Recovers from hanging out with David Spade. Thursday Next
I can't stand it when people do internet soapboxing on a game and say "[Company] does not understand [product] fanbase! We don't want [new feature], we want [old feature]!" I don't hate it because they are moaning about change, but because they have appointed themselves spokesperson for an entire fanbase.
Waldorf and Statler
I was like that with DMC. The fans were especially whiny because the guys of Ninja Theory specifically said "we welcome everybody who is willing to give us a try but we don't care for whiners" which of course caused these fans to insult the ever living hell about the character designs and every little difference in gameplay. All of a sudden the game was 30 fps and they feel that is an irredeemable change.

Mister Jack
Case sensitive passwords that require uppercase letters and numbers on websites that soooo don't need it. I understand why your bank or credit card company might require that sort of thing, but I'm just trying to update the maps on my fucking GPS! Who the fuck is going to want to break into my GPS account?!

Thursday Next
Case sensitive passwords that require uppercase letters and numbers on websites that soooo don't need it. I understand why your bank or credit card company might require that sort of thing, but I'm just trying to update the maps on my fucking GPS! Who the fuck is going to want to break into my GPS account?! Password rules generally annoy me. I should be the one who decides how secure I want my information to be. If I want an account that I use solely to comment on a website to be "password" then that's my shout. If I want it to be "correcthorsebatterystaple" then I should be allowed that too. It also annoys me that caps and numbers are harder to remember and not much (if any) more secure.
CorgiShinobi
Sorta an Internet peeve, but when people go into a rant about, "I hate my town/city/state, it sucks so much, so I want to move to LA/Chicago/New York!" I'm one fo those guys who can understand if a town does suck, but I think there's more potential to your local residence and culture than having to up and move to a Top 5 Most Populated City in the country. Yeah, there are great things about those cities, but you don't have to live there. I'm sure the things you're looking for in a city can be found in other cities. (Unless one of your desires is to see a Starbucks every two blocks, go for it.)
Mal
Moving to LA (WHY!? LA is the shittest sprawl I've been in), SF or NY? Good luck with rent.
UnstableArk
People also tend to forget that NY is more than just Manhattan or any of the hipster neighborhoods. Why would you want to live in Manhattan, anyway...?
Waldorf and Statler
People tend to forget that NY is full of assholes, rent is high, it's uncomfortable and unwelcoming. At least the New York people from other states want to move into. Texas suburbs might not be the most exciting, may look generic and sure are boring, but they're safe and at least mine has a great school district and large houses. What more can a person ask for? Mal
NY is totally fine if you like the city life. Since I grew up partially in Brooklyn, I can dig it but... SLO life is better. Not a small town but not a large one to the point that you get a suburbs feel. SLO and the surrounding area has enough for you to do if you like the outdoors. If you need a big city, it is only a 3-4 hour drive away. Have family there? Can crash.
TheMightyEthan
I can't stand large cities. They're crowded and noisy and smell bad and it's hard to breathe. I understand they have some attractions that justify visiting for a few days, but living there? nothankyou.jpg
Waldorf and Statler
I'm with Ethan. Not that I agree with him, I mean that we've been sleeping together for some time now. Thought you should all know. He calls his penis the Mighty Ethan.
TheRevanchist
SLO is pretty damn nice. That whole area is. I personally like hanging out in Cayucos. Paso is also awesome. Malicious, don't ever leave.
Mal
I'll be out of SLO in a year but I'm gunning to be a professor at Cal Poly eventually, despite its problems. At the very least I'll retire around here.
Luftwaffles
I don't quite understand the big city fascination. Only one I've ever enjoyed is London. Smaller cities though, they're fantastic. Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Minneapolis and Denver have all been wonderful when I've visited/lived in them.

Waldorf and Statler
Youtube Geek Week. Some videos are ok but the grand majority are pandering as shit. There was a top 10 youtube animations list that ended with adsf or w/e it's called. How pandering must you be if that's what you think youtube animation geeks would choose at first? Did you fucking poll facebook and those girls who say "doin hw on a wednesday night, LOL SUCH A NERD XD!!" I hope that like with comedy week, Mega64 does a video making fun of this week. It's insulting that you would think some of these channels youtube chose represent geeks.
TheMightyEthan
Smaller cities though, they're fantastic. Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Minneapolis and Denver have all been wonderful when I've visited/lived in them. As far as I'm concerned those all fall into the "big city" criticisms I've posted above. (Well, at least Seattle, Vancouver and Denver, don't know for sure about the others). *Edit* - Also, Denver is one of the least pleasant cities I've ever been to. A big part of that is in the pollution though, due to it being a valley and trapping all that shit. *Edit 2* - To clarify further, anything over like 100k is too big. Strangelove
Im not sure if this is really an internet pet peeve, but Im kind of annoyed by the people who post about their what if scenarios of Sega making a console again. I get that you loved your Dreamcast, but shut up already. Go dream your crazy impossible dreams somewhere else. Off the top of my head, theres almost a new "What if Sega returned to the console business" post on neogaf every other day. Ugh. What if you go suck a penis. Waldorf and Statler
Sega has been sucking dick for ages now. Amazon has a bigger chance of making a console. And there are rumors they will lol.
