My understanding is that one of the mods was a bit of a bitch first in removing PC posts as "they could be doing taxes", whereas others pointed out just pictures of consoles were seemingly fine. He went on a bit of an anti-PC parade which led to him being doxxed (and apparently a bomb threat/murder made in his name, but as others have noted since nothing has gone out on police channels so probs lying on that part) and leading to the 45K user strong PC subreddit being banned by admins (which is a rare feat, the only other high profile subreddit bans by admins have been after the under-age stuff flared up in the media).

It's all a bit of a clusterfuck. I imagine/hope the ban gets reversed as that really was a stupid decision. The doxxing was definitely not-needed (and Reddit Admins can surely locally ban those involved). And also stupid to have a mod of one of the larger gaming boards on the net with an anti-PC streak.

Don't take this as bitching, but on Reddit:

I don't care about karma, whether I get 10 or 1000: whatever. Thing is, I've noticed that when you get just a few negative votes at first, your submission is basically sent to Hell and stays there with just two or three votes. Truth be told, I probably waited too long and my submission became irrelevant on a hibernating subreddit. Thought it was still good, but NOPE!

But whatever, I don't really care. I only care in the sense like I didn't get a fair shake at the majority of viewers because of a select few. But then again, being untimely on my part too.

Wasn't the one I was talking about, but yes I got that much when people were telling me in the comments. Though even when I have my monitor at its lowest brightness setting (which is now) I can see it just fine, so I was thinking it was different monitors/screens handling RGB, or more specifically true black, differently. If I had stuck around and saw more comments I probably would have made a lighter image and linked it in the comments, but I didn't. Not going to lose any sleep over it or anything, though it was overly positive.

But also, lets not make this about me specifically. I'm not trying to get attention here, especially over silly shops and video edits. I really only submit stuff because I get an idea, either funny or interesting. Most of the time I don't have the means to do it, so I don't submit a lot.

Step 1: https://lastpass.com/

Step 2: Come up with a system. like [domain]pwd123 That way one password hack won't bring down everything because you used password123 for every log in. If someone goes through manually and has multiple password tables with your stuff on they might work out your system, but for the casual hacker type they'll just be blasting your email and password against a bunch of services, so kickstarterpwd123 won't work on gmail or paypal or what not.

Yeah, I got lastpass after there was the Sony hack and another one in quick succession, causing me to have to change all my passwords twice in less than a month.  I didn't actually have them all be identical, but they were similar enough that I wasn't comfortable keeping them.
