I was going to do a status update but it was getting lengthy. Anyways, my setups at my parents place.

Internet browsing station. I got a micro-HDMI cable today and it works out really well. The monitor is at 1920x1080 while the sound is going to my speakers. No crappy monitor speakers here! I suppose I could do some light gaming here but this is mainly for streaming and internet browsing. Main issues are the T100 weak wireless (I should look into it) and the overall system hangs a bit ever so often. No biggie.

On a side note, this is a test run on me using the T100 for use with a projector or any other setup at CSUN. Unless something blows up, I think I can manage screen projection now...

Here's my big tower. Big Picture mode works out really well. I also got my phone setup to control the mouse cursor so I can sit on the couch and watch shows and junk. Everything worked out better than expected. I just need to grab some good surge protectors for everything since all the ones around the house don't cut it...

Arise, thread!

This is a new area I set up in the same room as my computer.  That's the TV that we replaced with the new 4k one.  This one's 47-inch 1080p, so it's pretty nice for gaming.  I've got the PS4 and Xbone there (the Xbone is on the bottom shelf, hard to see in this picture).  My computer is off to the left, and I got a 25 foot HDMI cable from Amazon so that I can have it hooked up to the TV too.

My setup is sadly still the same but my sexy new tower alone justifies an update.

I also tried taking a picture of my dog since some of you guys are into that shit, but that little asshole likes to sleep behind a big chair, which made it too dark for my Vita's camera. So the pic was too shit to post. It's somehow even blurrier than this one.

Those are some serious speakers for a PC...

Do you not have a phone to take the picture with?

Nope, no phone. I still live in the dark ages.

And that's just a regular stereo system. It's a few years old but it does the job, so I never felt the need to get proper PC speakers. Besides, I don't remember the last time I actually used it to play CDs so I'd probably never use it otherwise. Oh and you can't really see it but there's also a subwoofer under the desk.

you gotta use your vita for something

Hey, I'll have you know I played a game on my Vita last year!

I really need a new desk. The one on the left is mine. Not only is it made of shoddy plywood and is falling apart, but it looks absolutely terrible. The monitor on the right is for PS3 games.

@Ethan: Nice gaming chair. Roommate had one of those, and it was damn comfortable. I won one through a Cinemax app and didn't know about it until the offer expired.

I had this post typed, then FLD mentioned something about his dog. So here's a retake with my cat.

I wrote a reply to this, but I guess I never posted it.  I got this one when I went to college.  It was horribly uncomfortable at first, only about 1/8 inch of padding on top of hard plastic, but I got some foam padding from Walmart and cut it to fit and now it's really nice.
