deanb
Most anticipated? Call bias if you will, but BF3 all the way. Yeah but you're biased. My most anticipated is Skyrim. I think what's killing it currently for a lot of games for me is atm I don't have any time for upcoming ones, or the time to really devote to looking over every snippet like I used to. That and I'm kinda just off games media a fair bit, and that's the main source for news on games. There's only so many mainstream games I'm fussed for, and that's where all the coverage is. There's quite often when I'll pop into Grainger or GAME or whatever look at a shelf and go "I have no fucking idea what half these games are". And some look pretty good. So maybe somewhere out there is a game I'm really anticipating, I just don't know of it's existence yet.

There are none, because PC gaming is dead. Edited March 2, 2011 by Hot Heart
TheForgetfulBrain
My most anticipated is Skyrim. I'm surprised! You seemed pretty down on Skyrim in the ES5 thread. I'm very excited for that as well. In fact, there's more games I'm excited for this year than my wallet would like, considering I want them at full-price. I've already got DAII coming in a week, and I also pre-ordered the Witcher 2, so needless to say I'm excited for those. I haven't pre-ordered Deus Ex, but I really want to - that game looks like it will do just great in capturing the ol' Deus Ex spirit AND bringing the new. BF3 - as everyone's buzzing about right now, looks very exciting, and I can only image how good the MP is going to be. I'm also excited, even without gameplay footage, for Scrolls. There's more too - lots more. I keep forgetting we're in 2011, where release dates once seemed like a distant thing, and now, are right around the corner. My wallet quivers and shakes an angry proverbial fist.

WTF
It's hard to remember each and every game I'm interested and so I've got a word document list for this purpose. Games are added, categorised, deleted based on what I see and what I like (in terms of buying) though I will not delete them totally till they're out. This helps me a)control my gaming expenses and keep track for what I'd spend in a month b)budget my expenditure as I've other things I'd like to spend money on than games. c)remember... Meh I've got so much shit on my mind that it's hard to remember game releases. However with this chart I can pretty much bring up data just like that . I'm glad studying DBMS and nearly working for Oracle at least helped in some regard. Deus Ex is Hot title for me though it's so Gold (cue Spandau Ballet if you must). I am glad that I don't have to pay upfront for preorders. I don't know why I'm not feeling it for Skyrim. I really want to be hyped for it but I can't be arsed. I guess I just took your initial disappointment with the creatures/screenshots as you not being excited for the game. It's hard to judge tone over the internets. deanb
Ah right. That was more aimed at the engine. Few folks were like "new engine!" then look at screens and go "OMG it's absolutely beautiful" and I'm just saying, it's not changed that much. Still unsure if it's not Gamebryo/gamebryo-based yet. And tbh the screens weren't like "OMG So much improvement" they were about on-par. About the only major improvement in terms of looks is the humans. And we've yet to see any other race. Thursday Next
Loved hearing Journey kick in when the dude in Tron: Legacy turned on the arcade. I think I was the only one in the cinema who knew that Journey had done a song other than the one that they copied from Glee.

Enervation
I'm just waiting for Guild Wars 2. I'm spent in terms of FPS, Single player RPGs as well I think, although DA2 is something that looks interesting... I've got a nice bunch of cash waiting, but nothing in particular piques me interest, so it just sits there gathering dust. I feel old. Everything feels dated and slow to me. peteer01
Will definitely get in 2011: Mass Effect 3 Portal 2 TES 5: Skyrim Games I'm likely to get that I am interested in: Marvel vs Capcom 3 Batman: Arkham City Diablo 3 Games I want more information on: Bulletstorm Deus Ex: Human Revolution Duke Nukem Forever Journey Mortal Kombat Annual Call of Duty title* Battlefield 3** * Despite my last three years of COD being two enjoyable Treyarch games and an IW game that I found extremely disappointing. ** Will it have a "Locale Only" search option and a way of checking the quality of your connection on 360? The lack of those were my biggest two problems with BFBC2.
Hot Heart
Oh, I'm cautiously anticipating X-Men: Destiny. Some of the stuff sounds interesting, and it's being written by Mike Carey (who I felt had a pretty good run on X-Men not too long ago).
