Mal
Sums up my reaction quite nicely.---Finally made time to watch some Nichijou. If I have to compare it to anything, I would compare it to Pani Poni Dash combined with Azumanga Daioh. Its good, cute and I'm watching this in 1080p. I forgotten anime now can be in HD... pocoGRANDE
my girlfriend and i have been watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. i'd watched it back when the new episodes were airing on hulu, so this is the 2nd time for me and i'm right back into it. truly one of the great animes. i'm blown away by how fast the story moves despite the show's ridiculous length. right now we're on episode 51. i guess since i'm new to these forums and this thread, i'll list off some of my favorite animes and maybe y'all can throw me some suggestions too. -Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood -Paranoia Agent -Gurren Laggan -Monster -Samurai Champloo -Cowboy Bebop -Ghost in the Shell: SAC -Sgt. Frog making lists feels good. i guess that's why the internet's full of 'em.

Little Pirate
I started watching Soul Eater out of curiosity. I'm only about 5-6 episodes in, but so far it's pretty entertaining and I love the Halloween feel to the animation.
Waldorf and Statler
It's good enough, especially if you've seen Naruto and get how that star guy is clearly a parody of him.
Alex Heat
Started watching Reign: The Conqueror/Alexander Senki. This shit is weeeeeeeeeeird.
Waldorf and Statler
I finished Jormungand a week ago. If there are any Seinen fans, it's worth a watch. It isn't the best seinen ever, but it's not bad either. Average I guess is what I'm trying to say. If you liked Black Lagoon it's a decent watch. Saturnine Tenshi
I'm into seinen, but my back log is too ENORMOUS for average to have a place. >: I do remember seeing that patch lass on Tumblr for a while, though.

Mal
This intrigued me way too much so I had to watch it now. We're witnessing the rise of Moeizm! They're going to moe us back to moeness!Lets see... we have Team Adorable (Main), Team with Three-Eyes-Chan (Student Council), Team Allied Power (Need I say more?), Team Volleyball (...) and Team Normal (http://www.youtube.c...?v=6kyq5IvLbz)I.I like what I seen so far. With that, I like weird shit.http://girls-und-pan...hara_assam.htmlRidiculously British-chan.http://girls-und-pan...ra_anchovy.htmlSS-chan! Wait... Anchovy? 「Advent Chaos」
I always shit on moe whenever I talk about anime with people, but every season I find myself watching at least one moe-filled show. I'm the best hypocrite. Oh hey fellas, how 'bout that PSYCHO-PASS? It's pretty cool! I was worried it was gonna be another GUILTY CROWN, but it's looking to be a lot better!
Mal
I just went to check out Psycho Pass. It for sure has potential. I just fear it'll just crash its face in in the end. Almost always these sort of anime do. My initial impressions: First time I saw the girl, I had to do a double take if she was a she. She grew on me. Supervisor is an asshole who follow shit to the letter. You got to be flexible. He also look like the Quincy dude from Bleach. Those holograms... they break physics. This is anime so its okay... All their brains are hacked. Sybil is a corrupted POS program. How the hell did the people just accept it!? I fucking love the ending theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYkUw6ceFkA Reversed fanservice. Is this becoming a thing? Are they trying to turn me!? In other news: If the CN show wasn't in 3D, I might of tried it. Edited October 27, 2012 by MaliciousH
Saturnine Tenshi
Girls with Panzer looks neat, Malicious. I'm not sure what I'm "watching" as I haven't been actively watching anime properly due to being extremely busy, but I have watched the following recently: Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko Tamayura hitotose Added Princess Tutu to the queue because Cyber suggested it.
Mal
Princess Tutu is indeed really good. What got me into it was a certain AMV that stormed the net about six years ago. Surprisingly, it lived up it my expectations. On my front, I started Fist of the North Star. I always shit on moe whenever I talk about anime with people, but every season I find myself watching at least one moe-filled show. I'm the best hypocrite. CorgiShinobi
Toonami is getting me back into the swing on anime. Casshern Sins and Eureka 7 The former... I seriously can not follow it because I didn't watch the first few episodes. Even so, it's painfully melodramatic and has a slow pace. I'm still watching it, just not able to really bare with it. Eureka 7 has always been that show where I want to really like it, and I have friends that do, but that male lead kills me. He annoys me and I want him to have the balls to be capable of being a character I can root for.
MasterDex
In the case of Casshen Sins, I know exactly where you're coming from. I was really looking forward to the series but by like 5 episodes in, I just gave up on it. I have heard it gets better though. As far as Eureka Seven is concerned, I'm a big fan. Unfortunately, it does fall into the template laid down by NGE in that for most of the series, the protagonist acts like a bitch before growing a pair right before the end. Waldorf and Statler
If you can get through him not having any balls, it's a great series. But for the most part he's pre-kamina Simon.
CorgiShinobi
So I figured out why Casshern Sins was confusing me... I was watching the last few episodes of the series. This previous Saturday was 23 of a 24 episode series. I was suspecting it was coming to a close given that Casshern declared he wasn't going to fight anymore. Kinda spoiled the ending for myself now, but the series has been pretty average. Oh, and if any of you guys find yourselves watching Toonami, Samurai 7 isn't half-bad. I watched it on Netflix a year ago, and while the dubbing is half n' half, along with an unusual setting for a re-imagined take on Seven Samurai, it's entertaining. 「Advent Chaos」
Malicious you give me 'dem looks and I just don't know what to do with myself. I've always loved Eureka Seven, but yes Renton can be pretty annoying. He has his moments, but they're way too scarce. I've been watching Eureka Seven AO and even though it's enjoyable it feels really different from E7, at least to me it's giving me some very confusing feelings. Anyone been watching Sword Art Online? Mal
... That love and devotion is glorious. In other news, I've been skimming Bleach stuff every so often ever since I stopped reading due to the how screwy it was. I think Bleach may be moving to a closer to a close now. To put it short, recent chapters seem to indicate that Kubo actually manage to explain why Ichigo is a badass god of death that have bullshit power ups. The answer is kind of simple... but kind of easy to overlook. His mom is a Quincy. If the recent story arc tells you anything, Quincies are far from humans since hell, they can go toe to toe with Shinigamis (Also see Shinigami-Quincy War). I always assumed Quincies were just humans with some slight power. I guess not. SO YEAH. Ichigo is the the perfect fusion of two spiritual super powers. Hell, he even has some Hollow in him which makes him even more bullshit. Thus super god of death with bullshit power ups. I'm sold on Girls Und Panzer. Also the ending animations. ---- http://vote1.fc2.com/browse/9964099/2/ Make your decision wisely. CorgiShinobi
Yeah, I still read Bleach, but it's basic entertainment at this point. That "reveal" today was just... Alright, we don't know much about "her," but Ichigo at this point has become the ultimate being of his universe because there isn't a single spiritual power he has not gained/mastered which has made him surpass his peers in the matter of days when they in turn have had hundreds of years to master their power. EDIT: Oh, but technically Ichigo doesn't have any Hollowification considering his "ultimate bankai attack" basically was a hard reset to his powers. When we regained his powers again, other Shinigami individuals added their power so Ichigo could regain his own.
