Dee
@Wally: I want to see that anime, Attack on Titan. It's been a long time since I have found an anime worth watching past the second episode. This one looks like it could be tolerable, but I'll be amazed if I actually want to keep watching. Waldorf and Statler
I've read the manga up until the current issue. When I say it's Evangelion meets fantasy setting I'm not kidding. You should like it depending on how much you like the main character taking a back seat in some episodes to expand on the other protagonists (ala GitS). Maybe I'll check the manga out to get a picture of what I should be expecting. While I did like Evangelion, it's not my favorite. Is there anything else you can perhaps compare it to? I feel it is slightly reminiscent of FMA: Brotherhood, but only a small bit and more near the very end of the anime/manga.
Mal
If you haven't heard... Got subtitles and such. Prepare your eyes. I expect more heartbreaking stuff and much improved animation stuff. That damn rain. --- As for Attack on Titan... when I think about it, it reminds me of a late 80's or early 90's fantasy anime in modern clothes. Explains why WaS explained it as he did. When FMA Brotherhood gets to the ridiculous battles then yeah, it's similar to that. Edit: Also the second i saw that trailer was from the guy of 5CPS I was all "NOPE" I don't watch my romantic anime for heartbreak. Dee
I don't watch romance for romance period. I detest it. It ruins entertainment 98% of the time.

Mal
I watched it yesterday dubbed. I have a feeling this is not going to end well and we won't find out until at least November (Most likely next year though). Oh Marida... Anyways, I'm sort of tired of some characters being fueled by "love". Quess was enough back in CCA. The only one that I really accept is Haman because its way better done. Most of the others feels... so tacked on with Quess' being the most (Hathaway is a close second...).
Waldorf and Statler
So after much praise towards it weirdness I decided to give Bake/Nisemonogatari a try. Holy mother of god. I thought other anime was perverted. This anime is like THE pervert's anime.
CorgiShinobi
Isn't that the one with the toothbrush scene and all the camera recording said brushing?
Waldorf and Statler
yeah. Apparently the toothbrush scene is famous as that is the main reason I was told to how weird this scene is. In typical anime fashion though that scene is between the brother and the sister and later on in that it almost reaches the point where the brother straight up 'goes for it' until they're interrupted. I feel like I need to investigate what is the fascination of Japanese with incest.
Saturnine Tenshi
The toothbrush scene made toothpaste play a thing. I'm okay with that.
Waldorf and Statler
Man it sucks not having any major new anime to watch but at least I'm showing my friends some of the best out there. Currently watching with them Durarara and while not to the same quality of Baccano I still think it was a fantastic anime.
Waldorf and Statler
After much inner debate I decided to give Kinds on the Slope a try. It took me this long to watch it because when I heard the acclaimed series director of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, two of the most innovative and highly rated animes of all time with sweet combination of action and music, decided to tackle a slice of life to say I was underwhelmed would be going easy on my feelings at the time. But after I started reading Silver Spoon I rekindled my interest for slice of life (certain anime had satiated my thirst for it a couple of years ago). Let me first of all say this: This is an amazing anime. It has the musical charm of CB and SC all right. The story is nothing groundbreaking: shy boy moves into new town, makes friends, learns about life, drama ensues, ends up happier than ever. But man if the characters above aren't some of the best written characters in anime. The relationship between the titular two is one of the best bromances I've seen in anime and it's actually more interesting than any of the romances they try to establish throughout the show. If you honestly want to watch a new anime, and don't mind some romantic drama for the first few episodes, then this is it. Give it a try. For the children. Mal
Kotoura-san, something I downloaded but had forgotten about, broke my heart in the first ten minutes then made me go WTF after. Mal
Well I just marathon most of Kotoura-san. I'm just waiting for the last episode to roll out next week. I don't think this show is that popular so I don't think it'll have a second season but I for sure like it (I did just marathon it and I hope for a second season). I like the changes in mood and I generally like all the characters. To show case how radically the mood can change (Something that confused me but I tend to like it). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9X26wVeN5g Also there are ecchi scenes from perverted thoughts, mostly. Though, its pretty damn tame when compared to some stuff out there today (One reason I like Girls und Panzer so much). I would recommend this show for sure. It does take place in high school so there is that but its no more than Haruhi. And now this: WaS: Edited March 22, 2013 by MaliciousH
Waldorf and Statler
I'm not a fan of Moe but I'll admit I laughed at the first video. Sorry if the show was anything BUT Moe I'd give it a try.
