Mal
Kaze Tachinu trailer. About that earthquake part... it might actually could of be like that. Underground nuclear test footage, 5 MT. A 7.9 earthquake laugh at that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmtOdUuBPXk
Waldorf and Statler
You're missing out. The manga might be further away but the drawings aren't very neat, in fact action scenes are downright messy. The anime might show the issues with the pacing a bit more but the animation and quality are almost unheard of for a shonen anime. Currently on episode 19 or 20 I believe. Only 2 or so more months away from finale. They'll probably go with an anime original ending. Unless they make a whole new season with original stuff. I wouldn't mind if they good writers. I mean we've seen FMA pull off an original anime content successfully. Then they waited years for the Manga to near its end.
Mister Jack
I guess I'm waiting to hear how it turns out. I mean, like FMA, a big thing about the manga is that it's just this huge mystery and nobody knows what's going on, and if the anime has to make up the answers then I'm a little skeptical that they won't do something stupid. The original FMA anime wasn't too bad though, so I guess we'll see. I'd rather they wait to end it if possible, but anime tends to really prioritize coming out in a timely manner. Waldorf and Statler
My issue is that the manga creator has it as a monthly update. And his writing favors dialogue and inner monologues over getting shit done
Mal
I was in the process of shutting the hell up about anime for a while but... Ladies and gentlemen. Behold: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-08-16/pokemon/the-origin-tv-anime-to-premiere-in-october Time to dethrone forever 11 Ash (Episode 800 is soon?) with motherfucking Red. The anime will be an adaption of the games and in ways to the manga. Though it is not the manga since it seems this Red chose Charmander as a starter. Wait for the day that Red get Snorlax and company. Wait for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSKxTqDvsas That or don't wait for it since it can turn out to be crap. So yeah... ladies and gentlemen who lived with Pokemon Red, Blue, Green and Yellow... lets hope it be good. --- Kill Me Baby dub. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_09dCcsWrGQ No, seriously. Kill me. --- Trailer here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Lyi2RSVxqg Edited August 17, 2013 by MaliciousH
Mister Jack
I doubt it'll be much better than the shitty series they've already been doing, but it's nice to see they're at least doing something new for once. The production value looks better too, so I guess that's worth something.
Waldorf and Statler
I feel like they took 3 steps forward then 2 back by not basing it off the manga
Waldorf and Statler
Attack on Titan was fantastic for two episodes so I guess it was time for long talks and flashbacks to make a comeback

Waldorf and Statler
Been loving Blood Lad. Mainly because the mc looks like from Gorillaz. If you like out of the box shonen give this a try.
Mister Jack
Watamote 7 There are probably few things more embarrassing than for your mother to hear your homemade porno dialogue recording because you plugged your headphones into the wrong jack. I cringed. And maybe I'm thinking about it too much, but that home movie of Tomoki and Tomoko made me sad. They used to be so close and fond of each other, and now Tomoko has to bribe her own brother just to get him to stand at his window and watch her set off fireworks. Obviously the problem with their relationship comes more from Tomoko's end, but it's clear that at some point Tomoki stopped loving his sister and just started tolerating her. Even when she tries to act somewhat normal and asks him to play a game or hang out with her, he brushes her off every single time. The only genuinely nice thing he's really done for her is agree to talk to her for an hour a day, and even then he only agreed to it so she wouldn't kill herself. In just a few years the two of them went from being best friends to strangers who live in the same house, and something about that is depressing to me. Saturnine Tenshi
And naturally: I've only read the manga. It's one of the few manga series I actually own.

Mal
I decided to do a new thing with regards to anime... I'm going to watch only an episode a day. With that said, I do have a backlog. I decided to tackle the following: Haganai {13} Bubblegum Crisis (Original) [40+ minutes per episode] {8} Record of Lodoss War (OVA) {13} Sora no Woto {13} Saikano {~15} Nodame Cantabile {23} If i have my way, I might get a few episodes of each done a week. --- Yellow is Levi, Red is Mikasa and Blue is Bert? Waldorf and Statler
I would put nodame up there if I were you. It's fantastic.
Mal
Its all happening. Since I'm not in a gaming mood, I might tackle a few series at one episode per series a night. Funny how I had these files since 2008/2009 for Saikano and Nodame. Ancient backlog that I never got around to until now. Good thing since Saikano really shows its age. Its production value is far from good but I seem to recall the story is really nice. Seems to have been forgotten so tough call for those who can't overlook the production value. Nodame still holds up well and it is indeed fantastic. Not sure why I couldn't get pass the first 10 minutes in all these years. Haganai so far is good too. Maybe I'm not done with harem anime yet. Bubblegum Crisis is being totally 80's. Lodoss is being fantasy. Also, Sora no Woto might be the anime of the list. (Not to say Nodame isn't great.) Heard too many good things about this one as well and since it is sort of recommended by like minded individuals... I take it to heart. First episode didn't disappoint. Go trumpeter, go. With that said... I might be in for a kicker. Cute girls doing cute things... then sadness...? --- Building my next list to watch. Anybody watched or heard of Otome Youkai Zakuro? I need a wildcard. Looks alright but I haven't heard of it before now. Might be a forgotten gem or a forgettable anime. * Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Precure...? Spice and Wolf Slayers [All] Captain Harlock Getter Robo [Armageddon and New, the older ones might be a tad too old right now] Macross [All?] Its a long haul list with some short series here and there. I will need to replace the shorter series as time goes on. Edited August 21, 2013 by MaliciousH
Waldorf and Statler
Just finished with spice and wolf. Jesus it was fantastic but the constant flirting and very slow moving romance got a bit annoying and the anime ended up going nowhere. Unfortunately light novels are only about to reach volume 10 in December. There are 17. And fan translations are down due to copyright. Fucking awesome.
