TheMightyEthan
Everyone I know (who is nerdy enough to have an opinion on such things) thinks Superman is overpowered and lame.
Waldorf and Statler
^ second I only have like one friend who outright defends Superman, but Superman is his favorite superhero.
deanb
Superman is only good in the What-Ifs.
toxicitizen
I like Superman a lot but all of his stand-alone stories I've read were average at best. He's at his best when he's interacting with other characters, like in the Justice League stories. Hell, even the crossover with just Batman and Superman are infinitely more interesting. Alex Heat
THANK YOU. THANK YOU! Finally. Someone else who understands that Superman is awful. Superman 64 is the definitive Superman game because it sucks as hard as Superman does. That said, as a blind Marvel fanboy who can only tolerate the Batman-family..... if there's ever a AC sequel not featuring Batman, give us Nightwing Terry McGinnis. Thanks! Batman Beyond 4 lyfe *gang signs*
Waldorf and Statler
Batman Beyond is awesome as a premise and as a character, but the show had SUCH shitty villains. The best movie from it was the one with the Joker. They should remake that show and have comic creators make villains for it.
Alex Heat
Terry's rogue gallery suffers mostly on account of the Saturday morning cartoon nature of the show he initially appeared in, but he did have a few winners like Inque, Blight, Shriek, Curaré, the Neo Royal Flush Gang and Mad Stan (who I love only because I find his pseudo-social commentary followed by BLOW IT ALL UP to be hilarious for some reason). Though I do agree that they show remake the show and get more writers on it (though Dini was good).
deanb
I don't think there's many people sold on this given it being a new team, and not quite aligning with the other games cut clearly wanting to feed off it. But hey, Deathstroke and Black Mask.. (And hopefully no Joker).
Mister Jack
They already confirmed the Joker a while back.
Hot Heart
Yeah, he's in the latest batch of screenshots too. And while a pre-rendered trailer is cool and all (like the other Arkham one), it does nothing for me. As long as the game retains what made Arkham City great, I'd still be pleased though. Interesting if they included something like fighting thugs while staying out of Deadshot's line of sight (not that even that is supposed to be able to stop him). Troubling news about the voice actors though... http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2013/05/20/new-batman-arkham-origins-trailer-screenshots-as-new-voice-actors-are-revealed/
Waldorf and Statler
God fucking dammit. I wanted no Joker so bad.
deanb
Yeah. So it's not only more Joker, but it's not even the right VA. Also on VA, Conroy is in it...but for what role we dunno since he's not Batman. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-05-20-turns-out-kevin-conroy-is-working-on-batman-arkham-origins-after-all
Little Pirate
Ngh.... I've been spoiled by Mark Himmel, but I'm willing to give the new voice actor a chance. Playing as Deathstroke sounds kind of amusing... But I probably won't preorder this game like I did with the last Arkham games. I'd rather hear some feedback once it's been released. Waldorf and Statler
Mark Hamill is by far the best joker voice. I love Jon DiMaggio but his joker in Red Hood wasn't that good imho. I'll give him credit for trying. As to Batman, it doesn't affect me as much as others. I like the animated cartoon/first two Arkham games voice, but I wouldn't cry myself to sleep over somebody else voicing him. Having the Joker in this with anything outside of a small role/cameo is a mistake in my part. I don't know about you but there are a lot of great villains in the Batman universe and the Joker is admittedly one of the best but god damn. Let him go. Mister Jack
Well at least Rocksteady seems done with him at any rate.
Waldorf and Statler
If Rocksteady isn't doing this I see it as a sign that w/e project they wanted to do after Batman might be their next title
Alex Heat
While I'm kind of amused by the prospect of Troy Baker (whose voice I would marry) as The Joker, I thought Richard Epcar did a pretty good job, even if the game he was stuck in was Mortal Kombat vs. DC. CorgiShinobi
As a Batman fan, I've come to times where I've accepted other voice actors to play the roles of Batman and Joker. Not preferred, maybe not even considered great, but acceptable. I expect this game to be the same: a good filler.
