The BBcode is, if you wish to type manually:

:PSsquare:  :PSX:  :PSTriangle:  :PSO:

iirc it's somewhat case sensitive.

@atomsk: Once you clear the Catwoman section of Riddlers stuff (only 9 challenges cos...9 lives) then he shuts up for most part apart from at 10% points of completing the trophys.

If you're that far in the main story and haven't worked much on the side objectives I'd maybe make it a priority. I'm around the 75% story mark and I don't have the option to complete any of them now, and haven't for a while (maybe around 65% mark). (also I hear ending changes depending on overall completion)

I ended up going through the whole game with a missing gadget.  It's right there in plain sight, but since it's not required to beat the game it's never actually pointed out and it's easy to overlook.  If you missed it and want to know where it is, I'll put it in a spoiler for you guys.

Panessa Studios quarantine room. It's sitting on a little table next to the leftmost cell.

Yeah, I came across a Riddler trophy location I knew, based on past experience, required that gadget. Thing is, here I am in the exact location where you can pick them up, but Batman doesn't say anything about them. In the previous games, the gadgets all have specific story mission elements to them, so it feels awkward to spot them on a table and think, "Yeah, these might be useful somehow."

Also, Mister Jack just reminded me that I haven't had a boss fight per se. There have been moments between the Arkham Knight, a drone helicopter, some tanks... I think that's it.

I've already taken care of Two-Face and...

Firefly

But those we pieces of cake. Two-Face goes down like a regular enemy NPC, whereas in Arkham City I know I had to sneak up on him multiple times and knock him out.

I think there might be a way to trigger the ending without doing it, actually. From what I've been reading, having 100% completion only adds a little extra bit at the very end. Maybe go on the roof of GCPD near the Bat-signal and see if a button prompt doesn't show up? I only found out after I'd already finished doing all the Riddler stuff late last night so I couldn't try it.

i got the 100% ending.

It makes no sense. It's one of those endings that's "open to interpretation." I hate that shit, especially after I went to all that work to see it. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO BRUCE AND GOTHAM AND THE ENDING STILL DIDN'T TELL ME!

What?

The only part that's up to interpretation is what the fuck was up with that creepy nightmarish Batman at the very end. Everything else as far as the fate of Bruce, Gotham and everything is... pretty obvious? You just need to read between the lines a bit, is that so hard?

That creepy Batman IS the fate of Gotham, but we have no idea who he is. Bruce again? Jason? Tim? Someone else? A hallucination? Hell, they didn't even bother to say if Bruce is alive or dead. My gut says alive since this is Batman we're talking about, but it would be nice if they could even show him for half a second after his house blows up.

I don't think it's an hallucination but I don't think the identity is particularly important either. It has more of a thematic significance, which really is what makes the ending that much more interesting, imho. All that really matters is that Bruce Wayne is dead and the Batman lives on.

But let's look at everything logically. When Batman's identity was revealed to be Bruce Wayne, he lost his most important power: fear. That's pretty obvious from all the post-game dialogue you overhear when flying around. The criminals don't fear Batman anymore because he's no longer this mysterious force of nature, he's just some rich douche with too much money and free time. Bruce Wayne had to publicly "die" because Gotham still needed Batman and without that fear there is no Batman.

As for the fate of Bruce, well, Alfred was standing right next to him. Even if Bruce would actually commit suicide (he wouldn't), there's no way he'd intentionally murder Alfred in the process. So yeah, very much still alive is my interpretation of that.

Fuck this game's Riddler Challenges. I just finished the last Catwoman one and it wasn't hard, but you know what's bullshit?

"You can leave any time."

R1... R1... Why am I not fucking jumping up to the ceiling. Oh sweet shit the blades are coming back! Oh good, I'm out of the way.

Death.

THE FLYING FUCK! DID IT CATCH HER HAND OR SOMETHING!

3 minutes later

Oh, I see. I have to be in a specific spot for Catwoman to jump up to the ceiling.

FUCK YOU!

You know this character you've only briefly used in battle?? Well, you better know exactly how her skills work right away or else you'll have to redo that annoying block puzzle!!

Ok so, I've done some research, in fact I've seen videos of people starting the incomplete Knightfall Protocol. But I do not have that option for some reason. My theory is, at the end Batman says something along the lines of

having unfinished business (his exact line was in regard to "one last night")

But I had already completed all the side quests except for The Riddler. So I think, if you go and arrest someone, then you can start the Knightfall Protocol. Unfortunately for me, I am fucked. Either that or my game is glitched.

161/243 riddles solved.... yay.......

Oh, I see. I have to be in a specific spot for Catwoman to jump up to the ceiling.

If by "in a specific spot" you mean "under the part of the ceiling with the stuff she can climb on" then yes.

*Edit - @TCP: All the characters play exactly the same as far as basic combat goes, there's no need to know how her skills work to beat her battles.

If you hadn't played City (and in particular the Catwoman DLC) you would have a hard time working out how that ability works (as in you have to be directly below rather than aim in the general direction like with Batman). It is not very intuitive. In fact, a gripe with this game in general is how much it assumes that you have literally just put down City and are therefore intimately familiar with all the different combat moves, takedowns, counters et al.

Could really do with some (optional) tutorials at the start that serve as a refresher.

I remembered having to be much closer compared to Batman from Arkham City, but I was in fact right under the climbable fencing on the ceiling at first. I was even staring right at the ceiling, but it still wouldn't let me climb up until I went further right where the material splits to cover the length of the edge. It seemed rather picky of where I could jump back up.

I agree that the characters all play similarity, so combat wasn't really ever a problem. I just had to remember I couldn't combo with half a dozen gadgets I had grown accustom to using when fighting as Batman.

I had quite the rage last night because I also kept failing at the final part of Lap 3 in Riddler's final Batmobile track. It felt like luck because half the time I couldn't properly adjust the position of where the Batmobile could move. As such, I would get blown up because a corner of the Batmobile would get caught. So for about six attempts I would have 40 seconds to spare, but end up running out of time just as I found my way through. Eventually I picked a half of the track and used the Afterburner hoping to get through with the right timing.

I'm one Checkpoint away from fighting him and then I'm going to go ahead and complete the Main Story. I'm actually surprised how long the final moments have lasted from the 90% range. I can't help but feel a bit lost at times because, with such a large open area, having to go through specific grates and openings can feel like a hunt whereas with the previous games it was all direct. Not to mention there's a lot of focus on disabling drones. I happened to have been shot down by a helicopter drone I didn't notice among the tanks in front of... Well, if you've completed the game, you know what I'm talking about.

I've mastered the Batmobile, but at this point I feel like anyone would have done the same with the focus put on it. I definitely enjoyed the underground segment with you know and I didn't expect to lose such an important device. Good thing Lucius is such a cool guy helping Batman out.
