having to destroy obstacles as Batman so then Catwoman can get her trophy is a bit lame.

This. Also, I was picking up riddler trophies last night and actually found a Batman one that, as far as I could tell, can only be reached by Catwoman.

I'm not against the whole online pass thing, but seriously, if you're going to use it for single-player content, then at the very fucking least don't use it for content necessary to get 100% completion on the base game.

The Catwoman chapters really don't add a whole lot to the story and can be skipped. Her trophies and content have their own progress section in the stats menu and don't affect Batman's completion %.

But Batman has trophies he can't fucking reach himself? That's bullshit.

Which one was that? I have nearly all the Batman trophies and so far I haven't needed Catwoman to reach any of his.

It was in the Museum, but I actually went back with Catwoman today and once I was there I saw how Batman could've reached the spot

Catwoman's way was just way more obvious.

So, uh, I heard people were excited for the Nightwing DLC... but I don't know if it's worth it.

Like, unlike Catwoman, it sounds like he's playable for the campaigns stuff, but I'm not sure about the single player portion. Even if he was, I doubt he has any specific missions. It's $6.99 and I'm not a Nightwing fan in the sense that I got a nerdgasm when I heard about the DLC, but I do love everything Batman.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Nightwing's only playable in the challenge rooms, not in the main story.

I just grabbed it but haven't downloaded it yet. I was coming out of a marathon session of riddler trophy/challenge hunting (only one of the fuckers left!), so I wasn't in a hurry to install it.

I figured I'd just start the download, turn off the PS3 and let PlayStation Plus do its thing while I sleep. I paid 50$ for the damn service, the least it can do is download and install my shit while I'm away :P

Plus, I had a bunch of stuff queued up. Grabbed ME2: Arrival and got a bunch of free games from PS+. Oh, and the full game trial for MK vs DC, too! I've wanted to try it for the longest time.

Anyway, if my copy of Uncharted 3 gets here late (or not at all :(), then I'll probably dig into the challenge room stuff and give Nightwing a try tomorrow. If I do, I'll post my impressions.

Ugh, I'm trying to do all the Riddler Challenges.

The trophies are not that hard actually, aside from a few trial-and-error devices. What I'm having trouble with right now is finding the last Tyger camera in the Bowery. With all the enemies with guns, it's like trying to find a piece of hay in a needle stack. I really want to try my best before consulting a guide, but time is precious.

Do I spend some more time hopelessly searching for little, tiny, miniscule items, or have the Great Internet Lords of Knowledge assist me?

Probably the latter. -_-

Nightwing's interesting.

Very different rhythm.

If you tap the strike button once he'll often do two little strikes (one electro-stick then the other), but the game doesn't accept your counter command until he has executed the latter strike, so often you'll get hit even though you pressed the counter button in time.

Once you have the rhythm, though, it's somewhat more addictive than Batman or Catwoman's.

@Atomsk: Can't you see the Tyger camera on the map once you have all the interrogatable riddler informants?

Nope, but the CCTV camera servers, if you hack them, will show you all the camera locations for the area.

I had a marked map offline in hand, but as I was trying to figure out which one could possibly be the one I had not destroyed, I came across the server. So yep, I didn't use an online source!

Well, truthfully, the "realtor" riddle I couldn't figure out. The map sorta goofs when you're inside Zsasz's hideout, so I didn't realize the riddle was inside the glass room. It seriously made it look like it was at some far end of the complex.

The map could have been handled better, indeed. Also, thanks for the heads up on the camera servers thing! I had no idea. The game doesn't tell you that anywhere. And this explains why I've sometimes gone to some effort to unlock a room where there's just a hackable terminal and nothing else. I'm assuming it's a CCTV server now.

I was actually disappointed at the size of Arkham City, too. I was expecting a much larger outdoor area for some reason. A real "you can get lost in this" place, like a GTA game. But it's actually pretty small, just a thin horseshoe of land. But is is incredibly intricate, and has plenty of indoor areas, which makes up for it.

Arkham City 22nd November on PC. For Americans.

That's ridiculous. Same thing happened to me with Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood a few months ago. I came in really excited for the game, wanting to play it on PC, but the delays kinda ruined the hype for me and I didn't end up getting it until the summer steam sale.

I guess you could say my excitement for this game is now dulled or pretty much gone.
