30 + More Days of Gaming

Day 4. I like certain iPhone games like those from Popcap or even infinity blade but it does leave me feeling unfulfilled at the end.

Day 5 I don't think there's a lot of game characters like me personally... though I could be every RTS leader since I'm pretty good at delegating jobs to others and am a workaholic (I mean technically no RTS leader quits till they're dead or the player takes a break).

Day 6 That's easy. 'Hey! Listen! Hey! Hey! Hey!' Yeah Navi's annoying (mostly cause the voice/sound was so shrill). James Pond, Blinx, lots of anthropomorphic mascots, lots of characters in FF games, lots of generic bioware characters, seriously there are lots of annoying characters.

Note: I am tired and haven't slept more than 3 hrs/day in 3 days thanks to work so I guess I might find more characters annoying now than usual.

Regarding DNF I'm in same boat as Cyber.

I'd have to same it'd probably be some AI co-op or escort quest character, but I can't think off the top of my head.

Most characters are only mildly annoying, there's plenty more annoying people IRL. So it'd be some game breaking NPC that'd tick me off.

For now I'm gonna go with John Marston. He's just super uber boring. It's certainly not his life story that's compelling me to complete the game.

I know it's been said, but I'm going to reiterate: Navi.

Or perhaps enemy NPCs in Mass Effect 1. Individually they're not annoying, but collectively...

ENEMY IS EVERYWHERE!

YOU MUST DIE!

Alright, gonna try to catch up in a single post!

Day 03: The only titles that come to mind would be stuff like Darksiders or Valkyria Chronicles. But I'm really not sure they're actually underrated. Maybe just not hugely succesful at retail.

Day 04: I don't know, really. I can't think of a single game I'm ashamed to play so I'm going to stretch this a bit and say Rock Band.

Simply because I sometimes feel like such a sucker for buying so much DLC for it. Plus I haven't used that keyboard all that much in the months since the game came out.

Day 05: I guess Nathan Drake. He's handsome, funny, strangely sociopathic and is basically Nathan Fillion.

Day 06: At first I didn't know but then I thought about it a bit and I couldn't believe I forgot all about motherfucking ZEKE

The so-called "friend" character from inFamous. Holy shit that guy has got to die in the sequel. Doesn't even have to be elaborate or complicated! Have slip off the roof and break his damn neck or something!

Day 6: Most annoying character. Tales in most of the 3D sonic games. As well as Knuckles. And Shadow. And Rogue the bat. And Silver. Sonic in most 3D sonic games. Just rubbish, hateful annoying characters....ugh. Sonic Colors is a massive improvement in this regard. A non-annoying Sonic and Tales? Forget about not making shit 3D Sonic games, Making Tales and Sonic not hateful? THAT is progress.

Day 6:

Dog Meat from Fallout 3. I loved it. But I think I loved it too much. After acquiring Dog Meat my game then consisted of exploring with it, and after getting to a part that I thought was dangerous I would take it back home. I had no idea how tough it was. I knew I could 'send it home' but I had this weird thing where I didn't think he would make it back safely, I wasn't sure if it had its own random encounters. So I had to manually go forward and back all the time. ALSO I didn't know if you could fast travel with it safely ( I refuse to look up info online on my first play through of a game ). SO there was a whole heap of walking.

It turned into this totally OCD dog protection thing and I was really obsessed about it. Primary goal in game was dog safety, secondary was gather miscellaneous crap and hoarding it at home, never to be used, only then came story line.

It started to get really silly, so I figured I'd just leave it at home. After this I managed to get through a big piece of the game. But upon returning home one day, Dog Meat was gone. I freaked out and searched my house, I started talking to all the NPCs in the area thinking maybe it was part of the story. My game was falling apart around me.

Figuring I needed to go sleep on it, and try and figure out what happened, I went home to save and there it was all of a sudden. I made a save at this point and to this day have not overwritten it, for fear of losing Dog Meat.

I did continue to finish the game, although very slowly, as Dog Meat needed to come with me everywhere.

On any subsequent play through I avoided Dog Meat as best I could.

It was the most annoying thing, not because of the character but because of me, man I loved that dog.

Hmm is it just me or are there not actually many couples in video-games, and even less marriages.

Although they're not a couple in the traditional sense I'm going to go for the Chief and Cortana. I was also quite upset that I couldn't get with Liara in Mass Effect 2 after forming a relationship with her in the first game, although the hot assistant and Miranda did help ease my pain...

I think I might have to go with the Chief and Cortana as well, as I can't think of another couple in a game that I even remotely cared about.

I was also quite upset that I couldn't get with Liara in Mass Effect 2 after forming a relationship with her in the first game, although the hot assistant and Miranda did help ease my pain...

You can in Lair of the Shadow Broker.

Well, maybe, but I don't intend to pay for sex in real life, let alone a video-game.
