Mr W Phallus
I'm going to go with Mario Kart 64; not many games manage to appeal to such a universal audience, I think it achieved what it set out to do perfectly. And I don't care if the blue shell is cheap, that's what makes it so satisfying.

excel_excel
Day 10: Best gameplay? Easy. Super Mario 64. Its levels are definition of playgrounds and Mario is controlled so tightly he feels like an extension of your hand.
Mr W Phallus
I'm going to go with Mario Kart 64; not many games manage to appeal to such a universal audience, I think it achieved what it set out to do perfectly. And I don't care if the blue shell is cheap, that's what makes it so satisfying. Fuck yea, you're the best gameplay ever! I've hardly played Mario Kart Wii, but that Bullet Bill power up did seem way too OP. On Mario Kart 64 on the other hand, well you can only ever go down 3 positions when playing multiplayer for starters, so you always have a decent chance of catching up if you're half decent. Plus you'll be the one with the best power-ups then. Edited March 25, 2011 by withoutphallus
Johnny
Day 8: Oh jesus... Uh... I guess... wow, that's a tough one. I guess I'm gonna have to go with Chrono Trigger Day 9: Chrono Trigger, Crono's death. Day 10: That's... A very very broad question. I guess if I did have to choose, I'd say StarCraft 2. arbitarty
Day 10: Very difficult one, because best game play can have several categories. If we were going to generalise and I take into account all factors I like about games, and then pick a game that has the most of those.. I would say Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts. SanaEquiesterer
He gets that scar regardless of whether you sabotage the gunship or not. The only difference that decision makes is how easy the gunship is to kill. If you sabotage it it still attacks, it's just not fully repaired. I thought that might be the case. I expected the consequences to be a little more than "do (not do) this and x enemy will be easier." But I'm just at the point of exploring planets and haven't gone for the IFF yet, so I'm still ready to be surprised. On Garrus: When I heard Garrus gurgling blood, I thought for certain he was going to die. Same. And then on board the Normandy they say he has to recover and might not be able to help out at all, or something like that. At the time I was just as disappointed my decision might have made him a desk cop. Day 10: I'm also going to go with Shadow of the Colossus. Nexus
Day 11 - Gaming system of choice At the minute I'm playing the PS3. Prior to that I had a PS2 and PS1, with a brief foray into XBOX. I also own a DS and PSP. Don't play them as much atm though. So yeah, PlayStation! Kovach_
I'd have to say PC. I've been gaming on the pc since '94, and no matter what happens, it's still my primary choice. Though i do prefer playing racing, fighting games and platformers on the consoles. As for consoles, i'm with the PS3. I'd only consider buying an Xbox if i lived in the USA. For the handhelds, i've got none, so i can't say much about those.
HotChops
Day 11 At the moment, I'm all Xbox 360. I have a DS and iPhone, but I rarely play anything on them. Edited March 26, 2011 by HotChops
TheMightyEthan
Day 10 - I'm going to have to go with Mario Kart 64 also. Day 11 - I'm probably like 50% PC, 40% 360, 8% PS3, and 2% DS. I might be overestimating the DS.
deanb
I guess Day 10 is probably gonna go with Tetris. Day 11: PC. Followed by PS3 then PSP.
Mr W Phallus
I'll always be an xbox boy at heart, but I'm getting more into PC gaming thanks to a number of factors such as not having my xbox at uni and the ridiculous cheapness of games on steam. Next year, though, my house should have a PS2, a PS3, an xbox 360, a N64, a Gamecube, a DS and maybe a Wii if we buy one, so plenty of choice there. 「Advent Chaos」
Super Catch-up time! Day 1: Super Widget for the SNES Day 2: Yoshiya Kiryu (Joshua). A mystery among mysteries. His suggestive mannerism and speech is fun, always speaking in riddles and lies while holding back his tremendous power. Also Sonic The Hedgehog. What can I say? He's fast, usually cheery, carefree always up for a challenge. He might have some pretty bad lines in the games, but as a character he's pretty awesome. Day 3: Sonic Unleashed. Everyone kept concentrating on it's uglier side of Werehog, when it's daytime stages were not only extremely fun, at later parts they were extremely challenging, a true test of reflexes and reaction times. Day 4: Arcana Heart. While I don't play it as often anymore (no PS2 available), it was always awkward moments when family or friends saw me playing this game. Also a guilty pleasure because even though I'm horrible in fighting games I would play it. Day 5: Neku Sakuraba & Shiki Misaki. It's an odd contrast between these two, in regards to Shiki I like to put on a smile and cheery attitude, wanting to be someone else because of my self-disgust. As for Neku, his emo attitude of not understanding people made me identify myself with him, often wearing headphones to block myself from the outside world and it's noisy people. Day 6: Gaspard (.hack//G.U.). He sorta grows on me after I'm able to not pick him, otherwise he's an annoyance in and out of battle. Day 7: Aigis & M.C. / Alkaid & Haseo. I love Aigis, some think it's weird, but her innocence and loyalty are charming in every aspect. Alkaid is not only best on her vulnerable side, but her "I'm going to kick your ass" attitude is excellent, she also makes for some major rapeage party member. Day 8: Let it be known that this is impossible, there are just too many to pick just one. Recently been listening to Halo Reach, Bayonetta, Madworld, The World Ends With You & Birth By Sleep. Day 9: The Boss. A True Patriot. I just couldn't hold back my tears when her horse started neighing. Also when visiting her grave, and EVA speaks of how no one will know what she did, adding the credit's song. Once again in Peace Walker, I kept real full hope that she was somehow alive only to be taunted by a horrible creation of an A.I. Day 10: Kingdom Hearts (1 & 2, BbS.) Haters gonna hate, but I love playing the bosses in these games, it's incredible fun. Adding some self challenges such as no using potions, healing spells, limits, starter weapon, and Zero EXP. Day 11: PlayStation 3. Now if only I could get my BC PS3 working again...

Strangelove
Playstation 3. As someone who doesnt understand the fascination with online gaming and doesnt want to pay for it, but still likes nice graphics, the ps3 is my main console. It caters to people who want to play some good singleplayer games. Shit, most of the exclusives are single player. Also, free online. Unlike the wii and whatever the fuck it does, psn is actually pretty good. Its finally comparable to the unfree xbl.

SanaEquiesterer
I prefer the PC above all, and if it received console exclusive titles, I wouldn't own any consoles past the SNES. Since that isn't the case, I prefer the PS3.
