Huh my bad. Must of linked in the wrong image, the one I thought I had linked was even called black.jpg. Hence my sureness. Kinda embarasing since I've been playing it. Does that mean puddles aren't new? Cos my houseamates played ruby onwards n the puddles were new to him.

Puddles were invented in Pokémon Ruby, along with trials biking and...running.

You could also get in a hot spring with old people. Man that was a great game.

I think Pokemon is the winner because I can't think of any place better. Overall of course because I'm well aware there are major perks in other games.

In example, I was going to say a Legend of Zelda game, but unless you're the Hero of Whatever, you're living as a commoner. Heck, as someone who lives in a village, you would have to tolerate heroes coming into your homes and breaking your decor and looting your valuables!

So yeah, Pokemon! Everyone gets the opportunity to raise super powered pets that evolve into bigger and even more powerful beasts of mayhem. Oh, and the easy income of course! ;)

Turn based Strategy (heroes, disciples, some aspects of total war though i see that TStrat RTS hybrid), RPGs (Japanese, western don't care really so long as the gameplay is enjoyable), SRPGs, Action titles, RTS, micromanagement simulators such as MOO

Single player action adventure games (Zelda, Assissin's Creed, Beyond Good & Evil) preferable more adventurey than actiony (i.e. not too much like a 3rd person shooter). Can I squeeze in point and clicks which are adventure games without the action?

Since I didn't answer yesterday's question I'll give two answers today. My second choice is puzzle games which I love too much not to put in at all.

Action-Adventure

Though I will say that more and more genres are incorporating RPG elements, which I do like in terms of leveling and creating variety in attack and defense. That's what drew me into Borderlands. Instead of outright being the capable behemoth of a gunslinger, you start out small and weak having to face pathetic enemies. Eventually you gain more powerful weapons and abilities, having to face stronger and crazier foes.

Day 19: I can't think of many other places where it wouldn't suck to be most other people than the main character, so I'll agree with Pokemon.

EDIT: Wait, isn't the basic premise behind the .hack series just a virtual reality MMORPG? Aside from not being able to log out like in the main character's case, that would be a neat place to live, even if it is the real world outside of the game.

Day 20: Single-player RPGs, followed by the very broad action-adventure genre.
