  1. I didn't have a Genesis back when it was still going. But I remember playing games like Sonic, X-Men, and TMNT Hyperstone Heist. Most of my Genesis experience came from buying a used Genesis in the PS1/N64/Saturn era, and then from emulation. There's a good number of sweet games to play. TMNT Hyperstone Heist may not have been TMNT Turtles in Time, but it was a fantastic Genesis game. Warsong is another great game because its actually Langrisser localized into english. Der Langrisser for the SNES was translated by fans as well as Langrisser II for the Genesis which never made it over here. It's a neat strategy RPG. Predator 2 was another game I remember from back when the Genesis was still going. A friend of mine had it. Those 3 red dots were always creepy.
  2. That's what happens though when you have a huge security hole and cheap CD burners and CD-Rs. Sega had other problems but definitely the fact that people left their 56K modems on all night downloading all the DreamCast games they could get their hands on didn't help matters. I liked the DreamCast and had it while it was still going. My favorite games were Marvel Vs Capcom (the first one) and Soul Calibur. I did like Crazy Taxi when I played it and there were other games that were fun. But looking back now I can't really say I have any interest in playing DreamCast. Soul Calibur is tempting but like many DC games it can be played elsewhere. Also I messed up my DC's lid switch by leaving things ontop of the console. I had no idea that over time it would mess it up.
  3. I had a SNES back when the 16bit era was going on. I had a couple friends with Sega Genesis consoles so I did get to see some of them. But I found out long after the Genesis was dead that I hadn't seen a ton of great games for it. But the same was true with SNES. And I'd never ever seen the Turbo Grafx 16, which has a nice library of games too. Now is actually a much better time to enjoy the 16bit generation of games since being older means you have the money to buy alot more games, and they are much more available than they were back then without the internet. Selection wise I mean. Or you could always emulate the games.
