What do you guys think about re-releasing older movies (like Ghostbusters) instead of getting a re-make or something?

I'm a bit sick that they're already remaking spiderman. The sunset for a reboot is now 9 years? Seriously?

With regards to the Spiderman reboot, I'm all for them 'rebooting' the films stylistically and tonally, because that's what comic series actually do with new writers and artists. At this point I was going to say the fact that it is an ORIGIN reboot is what is stupid, but to be honest, in the case of Spiderman I can understand why they did it - the Raimi films strayed quite far from the Spiderman canon (especially with the whole no web-shooter thing, as well as no Gwen) so I ca...

If they anounce that the Batman film after Rises is an origin retelling, that'll be an entirely different matter.

I somehow stumbled into the gaming reddit. Never let me go there again, lest I never return.

My brother cloned a shotgun and shield in Borderlands which were apparently edited in the PC version and passed around. I'm guessing its stuff like this is a reason why everyone's not going with cross-platform setups. After essentially breaking the game and being massive 'cheaty bears,' Gearbox gets the last laugh with the terrible drop rates of the Claptrap oil cans (etc.).

Is this the same "cloning" like what happened in Titan Quest? Someone hacked an impossibly perfect sword into the game and there were dupes of it everywhere in multiplayer.
-
Someone drops a weapon, gets kicked/leaves, and comes back. The weapon they dropped is still in their inventory like nothing happened.
-
Oh. In Titan Quest it involved selling the item to a merchant then exploiting a glitch and buying back the weapon as much as you want, as it would always stay in the merchant's buyback list. So, duping. Heh.

It's hard to believe sometimes that those little bright dots in the sky are actually GIGANTIC SCREAMING SPHERES OF BURNING DEATH! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
