The credits short was great (I had a smile throughout the whole thing like a sodding idiot). They apparently shot that using real Super 8 film.

Yep, the best review I found for the game so far was a 5.0 out of 10.

If anything, Barristan is a badass. I loved him basically saying "I can whup the shit out of y'all at this age, boy."

Beelzebub is just so awesome. Loved the manga, so glad that there's an anime of it now.

The song's a great mix of Led Zepplin and Nine Inch Nails (who did the cover). It's in the style of industrial rock, not hard/heavy rock, hence the differences.

Where does it say that they won't?

I haven't read all of them yet, but I heard that Sansa gets much better later on.

Who's read the books or watched the show? If you have no idea what this is, Game of Thrones is an HBO show that's based on a series of dark epic fantasy books called A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones is the first book in the series). It's been called the Sopranos in Middle Earth, although that label's not totally correct. To get a taste of how epic and fleshed-out the world of Westeros is, just watch the opening credits of the show:

Wow, who does the voicing? I want that voice.

Will China be in the game? I'm thinking yes, because Wake Island is confirmed in, and the Type 88 is a Chinese machine gun (if the above pic isn't fake).

MW3 is being developed by three studios: Infinity Ward, Raven Software, and Sledgehammer Games. Talk about compensating for loss. Edit: Just realized Raven did X-Men Legends, Quake 4, Wolfenstein (2009) and Singularity. Interesting. Sledgehammer is just a new studio started by Activision.

I don't really see military FPS games dying out like Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero and Rock Band were niche products for a relatively limited market. Yeah, they were really popular, but that's because they were a fad. Military FPS games aren't a fad, they're a set genre dug in stone by now. Military FPS games won't be decreasing in popularity anytime soon, even in an oversaturated market. It'll be fun, for sure, but for how long? That's something every FPS maker asks to make successful games. Activision is literally trying to solve that question by pumping out Call of Duty games every year. I personally won't mind getting a pirated PC version of this and have fun with the single-player and some LAN with my friends. If you're wondering how I can do that so easily, I live in muthafuckin' China.

I like the lack of care about MW3 here, is it because you guys dislike Call of Duty now or just plain don't care?

Indeed, nothing will. It's just that, well, after 10 years searching for a guy all over the world, ya kinda hafta celebrate, you know?

Fassbender as Magneto is pretty fuckin' sexy. I mean that in a very heterosexual way.

Source Code was pretty interesting.

Agreed. The 90 days thing you're talking about is the War Powers Act, approved by Congress in 1973. If Obama doesn't end military actions after 90 days or doesn't ask for Congress's approval within that time period, then it would be unconstitutional. However, this is where it falls into gray area, since the authorization by the UN could make up for Congress's approval, since all international treaties the US signs are treated as national law as well. The stuff that annoys me is people from both extremes of the political spectrum are calling for Obama's impeachment for this, and that people are stupidly listening to them.

For recent news, the misinformation about Libya is getting annoying. Some people are even calling it unconstitutional and warmongering. I'm a moderate when it comes to politics, but I would really advise people to check all the facts before jumping to conclusions, never mind publishing a piece or making a public statement without all the facts.

The King's Speech Fucking good and funnier than I expected This post is short cause I'm typing it from my iPhone

Ip Man is good. Ip Man 2 and the wtf-prequel are not.

Tron's failure is the dialogue. Every actor is pretty good, it's just that the lines have nothing outstanding about them. The story was average. It was a disappointment, but the music and visuals made up for it, and both were really fuckin' good. The artistic style doesn't appeal to everything, so I can't argue anything there. I watched Scott Pilgrim on a plane once and I think it's pretty funny. I would put it in the same category as Superbad - a really funny film worth seeing at least, but I wouldn't call it a classic (FYI, just in case, Superbad is far from being a classic).
