Johnny: I think there is, but we're not a clan. We don't treat the game too seriously. We like to do stupid things and we especially like baserape, that's why we got our own "No Rules" server.

Yeah, not many RTSs capture my attention, and nowadays this genre is not so popular. I'm more of a FPS player, so it's very difficult to play against people who ONLY have DoW games in their steam library.

How does other people playing it before you effect your enjoyment of the product?

because you know that due to arbitrary release system you don't get to play it for several days. You miss out on the watercooler element. The game itself will play the same. The atmosphere around it not so much.

I'd recommend you [GV] Official sever, but it's in Russia, so your ping probably will be pretty high. And it's pretty hardcore. Baserape, spawnrape, offensive remarks from both teams, pretty fun. I'm admin there. Hilarious! And inventive! Wait a minute... You've seen MP in BF3? Personally, I'm going to play SP first when this game comes out, but MP is all I care about. Give me good maps, good guns, good vehicles and an opportunity to rape people with my mates and I will be happy.

Not gonna happen. While PC is the main platform, it's still a multiplatform game, so there can't be too much deviations between versions. PC = Player Character. As opposed to NPC (Non-player character) *reads again* Man, I thought it was some kind of metaphor(about the door). Yep, my English sucks. *goes away in tears*

The levels are the same size so they can be played on consoles, fixed number of objects/enemies on the screen, etc. Also, I think SP campaign in BC1 was very good. DICE didn't try to mimic CoD, so the maps were pretty open, there were no corridors, and overall experience was very close to sandbox. Shame they went the CoD way with the second one. Still, great games. You can save and heal your squadmates in ARMAII in coop and MP. Pretty exciting, actually.

Yea, Max Payne 1 and 2 were streamlined to 11. The information in those scans doesn't sound all that awful. Especially compared to the initial announcement a year or so ago.

"Streamlined"? Max Payne 1 was a straight-up satire of hard-boiled Bogart. Then they got stupid and tried to take themselves seriously in 2. Now 3 has Anthony Hopkins.
Rule of thumb: First game is always best.

Streamlined? Not really, especially compared to modern games. Painkillers became trademark of this franchise, and now they include health regeneration. What next? Replace akimbo M9-s with G18-s and Max with some bald g... wait.

The only thing I want to know is if the Russians will be in BF3. You probably don't know about scalable maps in bf2. The maps themselves are pretty big, but the actual size of a battle zone depends on number of players. I think it will be the same in bf3. Take a look at this picture.
