  1. I agree with the Amnesia love. I only had a chance to play the demo, but it has a great atmosphere and creepy enemies.
  2. Why are you telling us how to feel. I think you need to cool your jets and let us consider this for a while. Personally. I'm looking forward to the new Wii golf game. I didn't want this topic devolving into a console flame war. This topic is about the software side of things for the coming year, not the merits of motion controls and the superiority of the other consoles. I haven't heard anything about a new golf game, who is developing it?
  3. The game is a lot of fun, but almost guaranteed to be short lived. Diablo II was successful due to the crazy loot system and skill trees. The spell system is inventive and really fun, but there is only so much you can do with it and I don't see much of an incentive to play through it again.
  4. Everything on my machine is up to date, it sounds like people are having a lot worse problems with the game at the moment. It sounds like they are hard at work fixing everything, so maybe in a few days everything will be rad.
  5. I'm not familiar with image hosting and posting, so we'll see if this works. Also the game still plays fine and I had a blast playing it. Once they get all the kinks worked out I think it will be worth a purchase.
  6. I'm getting a weird graphic glitch where there is a shadowy overlay on half the screen, at least I hope it is a glitch.
  7. I was mildly interested in this game...and then I saw this thread. Downloading the demo now.
  8. Mine is from an awesome cutscene from Tenchu. I was watching my cousin play and the first cutscene I see has the most ridiculous voice acting. There doesn't seem to be a clip on youtube of it, but it goes something like this: "What is this Bizenya? There is more here than usual." "It is merely a token of our appreciation." After referencing that line religiously, my friends started calling me Bizenya, or Bizzy for short. The extra 'Z' was added because the name Bizenya is sometimes taken and I like to use the one alias to keep things simple.
  9. I loved Duke Nukem back in the day. Lots of clever secrets, good level design and multiplayer was a blast. Here's hoping Forever doesn't feel like a hold over from the 90's.
  10. I had a ghetto enchilada which consists of a frozen burrito, tomato sauce and cheese. This time I had part of a left over tomato so I diced it up and put it on top.

  12. I think we are getting a bit side-tracked here. Console sales are a bit irrelevant at this point. The Wii has sold what, 70 or 80 million systems by now? Who cares? I'm a gamer, not a market analyst. What games are coming out is what is important to me, and should be to you guys as well. This isn't a comparison to the 360 or PS3, but rather looking at what is coming out next for the Wii.
  13. I don't mean to be rude, but how could you know good games are on the way if you don't even know what games are coming out?
  14. It seems like Nintendo has shifted their focus onto the 3DS and a large drought of quality releases, besides Zelda of course, is on the horizon. I would personally love to see Xenoblade and The Last Story see releases State side and beyond, but it seems doubtful at this point. Do you feel the same way? Are there any games you would like to see released or are excited about coming out this year?
  15. The American version of Final Fantasy 4 was lacking compared to its Japanese counterpart. Unfortunately Square decided to release 3 more versions to compensate, all with their own strengths and weaknesses. I personally prefer the PS1 version simply because it is probably the closest to the original game and only moderately suffers from the otherwise horrible issues classic SNES RPGs suffered on the PS1. The DS version felt like a step backward, mostly due to the gimmicky and counter-intuitive skills system they added. While I haven't played the GBA version I have only heard good things about it and it is probably the best FF4 experience. Only issue with the GBA version probably being the poor music and sound quality, which would be a shame because it had some good songs.
  16. I love all of Yasunori Mitsuda's work, especially Chrono Cross and Xenogears. That being said I haven't seen enough love for Donkey Kong Country in this thread.
  17. Your problem is thinking that Sega has any redeeming qualities left. Phantasy Star 4 doesn't need to be remade, much in the same way that Final Fantasy 6 doesn't need to be remade; they stand the test of time.
