Mal, Luft, and I did a run last night. We encountered bandits that were quite well armed. I was the only survivor.

I just set Arma 2 and Day Z up, and it's one hell of a rush. I found a M1014 and a ton of AK/Stanag ammo along with 50 shells for the shotty, ventured through 3 villages, and found quite a bit of loot. Sadly, it would seem that canteens arent spawning, and neither is food, so I died of dehydration. 3 villages, a city, and myriad amounts of ammo, but no water. Why.

Yeeeeeck, this UI looks terrible on a non-touchscreen PC. *Doesnt really add much besides slight performance enhancements and a new UI *Tablet interface standard on a PC *Following the trend, 7 was good therefore 8 will suck Sure, I might buy a tablet with windows 8 installed or one of those intel Tablet/Notebook hybrids, but no way is this coming anywhere near my PC. I smell another vista.

Unsure if want on this one, and considering how long its been since I've turned on my Xbox I doubt i'll be picking it up. Release it for PC and we might have a deal MS. Might.

If they enabled downloads I could finally get rid of the Humble Indie Bundle app and just use steam itself to download the mobile versions. I'd like that.

I was at the post-PAX Hawken developer party myself. Devs were quite nice and the "swag" was excellent.

I was thinking about buying a 7950/580/680 with the extra prize money i've been sitting on for a couple of months, this 550ti can't really hack it in QUITE a few games now surprisingly. I've got no strong opinions either way, what do you guys think? I'm only running a single 1920x1200 monitor....

I'm currently working towards the 100k exp mark so that I can get another good primary weapon for my classes, and strangely enough it doesn't feel like a grind even at around 1 - 2k a game. I don't think i've had this much fun in a shooter since Halo 3. My only fear is that the devs will get greedy and break it with micro transaction only weapons, its currently on a system where they can all be earned via exp or bought.

So BF3 is starting an open beta on September 28th, with people buying MOH getting access 2 days ahead of time. Anyone interested in trying it out? Reactions to MOH buyers getting Effed over?

SWTOR is going to be good? Bwwhahahha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1py-MJUcPxY EA has been taking down any videos that show actual gameplay in the wild to shield it until after launch. This video above had to be edited to lol mentos edition so that EA couldnt remove it (3rd time its been re-uploaded) The game is a badly written, horribly acted, horribly animated, and badly staffed wow clone. I was in beta, I should know. Also: Almost no old-bioware devs are working on it, its all new ones.

So the new tribes game is going F2P. Not sure if I'm ok with that, paying for upgrades is going to be annoying. Currently playing in F2P: Spiral Knights, Arma 2, World of Tanks, Global Agenda (not so much), TF2 ( already owned it and was playing alot, but have to add it to the F2P cat now). Im also going to be trying out AvA now that it was added to steam, seems a good CSS - COD fusion.
