Papu

I've tried Sai, ArtRage, Painter etc. but I always keep coming back to Photoshop. I guess I just find it easiest to use. I'm not really familiar with a lot of the tools either, I mean I know the basics, but I pretty much just improvise too.

Thanks a lot ^^ If I bother to repaint some parts of the painting at any point, I will see what I can do about the mouth.

Digital painting that I did today and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it. I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of how to paint digitally. Of course there are a million things I need to get better at, like painting hair and proper backgrounds for my paintings. Luckily, I have plenty of time. I used Scarlett Johansson as a reference for the face and some random picture for the pose. Oh and feel free to give me critique! Zoom in to see it properly!

Was practising today and I think it turned out quite nicely. It's not exactly finished and I don't think I'll ever finish it, so I figured I should just post it. Obviously reference was used. Probably going to post a lot more drawings/paintings here, in the near future.

The last good movie I watched was the Fighter. It really suprised me! I went to the movies expecting something average, but when the movie was over I was in awe of how good it really was. There was probably nothing I didn't like about it. Especially the acting was really good. And even though Christian Bale and Melissa Leo stole the show, I think Mark Wahlberg held his own and did a good job too. And in the end when they showed a clip of Micky and Dickie, you realized that they were, in real life, almost exactly like they were portrayed in the movie. And it showed how well the actors pulled off the roles.

Ahh ok I'll be sure to check it out, if he does.

Hello everyone! I thought it would be good to introduce myself, so here we go. I'm Jaakko from Finland and I'm 17 years old. I live with my parents, my brother and my two cousins. Obviously I love video games, but I also enjoy reading books, Listening to music, watching movies, drawing, roleplaying and doing other awesome things. And of course I love hanging out with my awesome friends, because when I'm with them all the awesome things I do become even more awesome, so it's like Supawesome. Yeah...and there is also a lot of things which I hate, but let's not talk about those things. My first gaming experience was at the age of 5 or 6. I was watching my brothers playing Super Mario World. Back then I only wanted to watch them play, but as the time went by I realized that playing myself is even more fun. Good times, and that's where it all began for me...<3 My favorite games are probably the whole MGS series(I especially love MGS 3), Shadow of the colossus, Super Mario World, LoZ Wind Waker(IMO it has the best Link too. I just love the facial expressions that he makes, they add a lot of character to the otherwise non-talking brat that link is. And Ganondorf is so awesome in WW too.), Mass effect 1&2 are also really great(I just love the universe Bioware has created). Ahhh.....I know there are lots of other stupendous games that should be in this short "list" of mine, but I'm too lazy to think right now. I'm tired.....probably because I just wrestled with a couple of polar bear-friends of mine. What an awesome day this has been. Lastly I want to say that I look forward to participating in conversations here in TAY with all you awesome people. Yeah I think this post is Finnished now. Cheers .
