The thing is..and this kinda sounds like I'm handing monopoly to Steam, but I don't want to be doing my games-related social networking and such across multiple clients, they'd have to offer something really great, are they only going to sell EA games (probably a stupid question I guess)

Massively overrated though unfortunately, seems to have been recently picked up by anyone remotely indie/pretentious.

I'm same as hakidia, though I haven't got it dl'd

The whole Hawks changing to Mechs thing will be useful considering most people in Warhawk just trolled flying like 2 feet off the ground killing infantry and pushing jeeps off cliffs.
-
Warhawk was great, one of the most underrated online experiences I don't think Sony ever put enough emphasis on it, but yeah psyched for Starhawk.

This thread makes me so excited to finally play it

it's hard to base things off recommended, I have a 5770 which is below the recommended but I've seen nothing in trailers/gameplay videos to suggest that it should be a problem? Guess I'll have to wait and see.

What's the min requirements? On phone asking = easier than googling lol

Saw Thor yesterday, reallly enjoyed it, though I had to watch it in 3D which sucked.

I'm probably gonna buy though the regional unlocking on Steam is pissing me off as I won't get it until the 13th which is also the day I go to see the gf for 5 days, might still pre-order/pre-load though!

True, console naming doesn't have the same impact it used to, where is the new Master System, I mean, it implies it could be the Master of all Systems!

I wasn't saying he wasn't affiliated, I was saying that as much as those are attributed to Al-Queda how can anyone know what his level of involvement is with the organisation now? I just wouldn't imagine it to be very high, that's just speculation I don't pretend to know a great deal about it . And I did say about the British lots involvement with Al-Qaeda. Anyway I feel like I've probably confused my point now! I just don't see his death having much of an impact on terrorism which is why I said that it was anticlimatic.

Feel would be an awful name.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madrid_Train_Bombing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_July_2005_London_bombings http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mumbai_attacks It's interesting how we forget about things that don't happen in our own country. Anyway, it's interesting to note that this compound that he was in was close to a Pakistani military compound and apparently only a block away from a Pakistani police station. Obama said nothing about a "joint military operation" which coincides with reports we're hearing that we went in without telling Pakistan. Honestly considering it's pretty clear they've been protecting him I'm sure they made sure not to inform the Pakistani government or else they probably would have warned him. Also, note Pakistan's "cover-your-ass" move by saying it was a "joint operation" and that they're glad that he's been killed/captured. If people weren't so war-weary already something tells me that there would be another coalition-type gathering to "liberate" Pakistan. I'm British so I'm aware about the London bombings, but how much of "Al-Queda" was Bin Laden? I know they claim to have perpetuated every act of terrorism ever, but the London Bombings had no direct links to him, though some to the orginisation. The Madrid bombings were never even claimed by Al-Queda. I'm not saying that terrorist attacks haven't existed, but I wonder how much influence he really had considering his focus on evading capture?

What's Osama been doing for the last ten years? the fact he's dead is.pretty anticlimatic now

I've actually just got back into spy, it's true the eternal reward really messes with your tactics, I stick only with the standard knife now its much better, could do with practicing the dead ringer though Demoman offense can be really useful on some maps for suppressing any pushes(especially ubers) and generally forcing the other team back.

They're testing a new flaregun? I didn't think it needed any changes but then again I think Pyro can be a bit OP atm. Excited to see what perm changes the beta comes up with, though I need to play it more and you know....contribute

So whenever you visit Kotaku it automatically redirects you to " uk.kotaku.com ", but whenever you click on an article it takes you to the new site? Or do you mean you always see the old site since you live in the UK? XD Well before kotaku changed, it was just kotaku.com, after it changed it was just kotaku.com (but the new one), but today its now uk.kotaku.com, and I didn't change anything

Mine goes to uk.kotaku.com automatically and it's the old one

I used to buy quite a few magazines in the grand old overpriced days of print gaming journalism, but Edge is the only one I still get, I find it a shame it gets a lot of fanboy-rage-reaction due to its scoring system, because if people were to buy it they'd realise it probably contains some of the best writing available.
