Yup, though the surface of the tablet has a similar feel to paper (kinda) the pen is way thicker than the pencil I use and the buttons on it are something that takes some time to get used to as they really change how you hold it. There's been other things but those probably won't bother most people as they are related to me being a lefty. The biggest difference is getting used to drawing without looking at the surface you're drawing on, drawing on the tablet while looking at the screen can be quite the challenge though I feel like I'm getting used to it faster than expected.
Another thing is getting used to whatever software you use, its shortcuts*, tools and other stuff, I've been using Krita as it's free and though I'm sticking to the standard pencil brush thingy, taking a look at some of the other options available is quite a thing.
*It's pretty cool that the buttons on the tablet are already programmed for certain things like eraser, undo and brush/pencil select.
I feel like it's still a bit early to give a solid/more thorough impression on it, but so far I've enjoyed my time with it.
